We are a family-owned artisan chocolate shop, that specializes in small batch chocolate, baked goods, coffee, teas, and, most importantly, hot chocolate! We strive to make artisan chocolate approachable and provide an eclectic space to sit, sip, and savor!

I have been to artisanal chocolate shops all over the world and Cocoa Mia is one of the best. Their stock is incredibly curated with bars from Dubai, China, etc. One of the owners, Grayson, approached us and offered us a sample taste of anything they stock (unheard of customer service) which was great because the choice was so overwhelming! He tailored our tasting to what we liked and then also suggested some new things to try. If you are passing through Floyd, don't miss this experience, especially the hot chocolate which Grayson told us was modeled after his memories of Paris cafes in his younger days. They even give you free samples of this delicious elixir in cute little mugs. A peak experience you don't want to miss!

The folks who own Cocoa Mia are wonderful and the chocolate, goodies, sweets and treats are divine. This is how a business needs to run! This is how you treat your customers. Anyone who needs a reminder, come on in. You will not be disappointed. I love their mayan truffles, hot chocolate, macarons, sipping chocolate, ice pops and millionaire shortbread. Everything is dangerous (because it is so good). The best part is the greeting and welcome you feel when you enter whether the shop is packed or empty. I wish I could come in everyday but then I would be broke. I’ve been coming to Cocoa Mia the last 4 or so years. There is always something new to try too. The shop is delightful. I love buying treats for myself, family, friends and special occasions. There are even chocolate bars from around the world. If you are in Floyd, go to Cocoa Mia. You do not want to miss the people, the chocolate and the beautiful shop!

Don't let the quaint exterior fool you: this lovely little shop contains not only locally-made goodies, but delicacies from around the world! The owner was very welcoming and even encouraged us to have samples of any chocolates we were interested in (including *the* best hot cocoa I've ever had the pleasure of trying!). These treats will transport you to their country of origin with a taste and sense adventure that is truly an experience. They even have chocolate teas, soaps, FROZEN hot cocoa (whoa), daily fresh-baked goods, custom truffle boxes, and more. It's great for gifts or a little treat for yourself. 😉 It would be dangerous if I lived closer, but this is a MUST visit for any chocolate lover!

I highly recommend the lemon lavender, chocolate salted caramel, and strawberry truffles coupled with a cup of their delicious mocha java. You won't be disappointed.

We were greeted with hot chocolate that was phenomenal and went on to try some of the chocolates while having the best conversation with the owner. If more down home shops were run like this place I'm pretty sure our world would be a better place.
