First time here. Great simple cheeseburger flame grilled to order. Others salads and sandwiches were said to be great. Hushpuppies very tasty. Great BBQ sauces also. Short staffed but who isn't these days yet this staff did a fine job! Will definitely come again.

Comfort food is written all over the menu. Potato salad is made onsite and not store bought. Bar onsite offers mixed drinks and beer with your dinner.

I give it a 3 because my waitress was very nice and was working hard. Ordered a steak thinking since it was a steak house it be good. Steak was tough under cooked. I got shrimp green beans, house salad. Shrimp was touch over cooked, green beans was from a can didn't even try to a any seasoning to take away the can taste and I didn't get my salad tell I was getting ready to leave and asked for it before walking out. Place was very clean not a place I would go to for a steak or shrimp. I do here ribs and barbecue chicken is very good.

I've been going to pig n steak for YEARS! Finally I just met the "manager" an she wants to charge me 70 cents each for two cups of honey mustard HALF FULL. I have NEVER been charged for that. NOR WILL I. Not to mention how rude the manager was. She wanted to compare honey mustard to a slice of tomato an lettuce. Like what?! An like I said to her I haven't been charged BEFORE! Also McDonald's says they are suppose to also an don't! & that's why pig n steak is the way it is.

A bit of a mixed review for the meal. Positives: neat place, friendly staff, I liked the chicken sandwich and baked beans. Slight misses: large hush puppies that were a bit dry, collards could use a little more seasoning. I'd be curious to try some of the other items.

Went to this location based off of a friend's advice. With a party. I ordered the burger it was actually not bad. Had a good decent flavor. Was also juicy. My friend ordered the steak 😑. He wasn't too satisfied. The stake looked very appealing but, my friend said "it was lacking". More likely it's because he works in a steakhouse in our local area. I'm sure if he asked they probably would have redone it. He was being polite. Since the hostess was friendly.

Pig N' Steak is a Madison County treasurer. Practically unchanged for years it still holds the old charm. Some might say its outdated and dark but thats how its always been. The menu is mostly unchanged and they always have streaks off menu, just ask. Food is pretty good. BBQ is great and their Mountaineer Burger is my personal favorite. Big hearty portions with nice kind wait staff. Normally service is fast for both dine-in and carry out. Prices are a tab bit high. They also offer a food truck that goes to community events such as "Taste of the Mountains" hosted every fall on Main Street in Madison Co. Nice place to stop for a quick meal.
