Absolutely loved this shop! They had an impressive amount of beads, pendants, silk thread, hemp, tools, etc. for your jewelry making needs. Loved that they had speciality beads! I was able to get a dreamy Herkimer diamond strand at a very affordable price! Their staff was very inviting and helpful. Very upbeat inviting atmosphere and easy to get to from the interstate. Only downfall is lack of parking, especially after 4pm or on the weekends.

Sharing this review a few minutes after being kicked out of the store (10/21/22). I had walked inside this little shop & upon walking in a young female employee walked up to me & asked "can I have your bag"? With no explanation as to why she was asking me for my purse! Mind you I just stepped foot inside the shop & didnt even shop inside or have the chance to even fully walk in. She bombarded me the second I came through the door. When she asked for my purse all I could say was "uhmm why"? Immediately upon walking in I was stereotyped & Judged. I was asked to hand over my purse (MY PROPERTY) to a complete stranger. I said "absolutely not". I was refused the chance to shop inside this store because I refused to hand my purse over! I have never ever had a store ask me for possession of my purse. I can understand if she asked for my shopping bags or if I came in with a bag that wasnt a purse but it was my purse! She felt that my purse was to "big" & thought that I would "steal"!! She stated it was "store policy" to not allow purses that was considered "open bag". I'm not sure how she was able to tell my purse was an open bag. She just assumed & didnt even ask. I didnt even have the chance to look inside before I was judged & asked to hand over my purse. The employee was just rude, judgemental, & it's clear this shop just stereotypes everyone that steps foot inside the shop. If you can't trust me inside your store then why should I trust a judgemental business & employee with my property? Shame on them for having this type of mannerism. Not a business I would ever want to support. They did me a favor.

Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable about all the beads. I enjoyed browsing thru the store to look at what they had to offer. I couldn't find exactly everything that I was looking for, but I was pleased with what I did find and will come again🙂

Great place for semi-precious stones, findings, clasps and chains and SO much more. Dropped 120$ easy. Lovely and helpful staff.

Do not go here to support this so called business. If you have a handbag like oh I don’t know numerous people have, you will asked to close your bag. Only reason you would be asked that is because they are obviously expecting you to shoplift! In these times with the economy the way it is, you would expect the opposite service when trying to support a local business.

nice beads, but the holes are too small for even 26 gauge wire to go through. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!!!!!

This shop was so dang fun! They had so many supplies, the store is just jam-packed. I could spend hours there and still not see everything. Workers were helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back :)

I picked up some cool beads and a couple different types of bead cord; the staff was knowledgeable and SUPER friendly!!! The store is beautiful and well-organized. For Richmond, prices were super low! I’ll be back for sure next time I’m in town!

My wife shops here frequently. This is her review: I love this store. I’ve been coming here for years. It has a great selection. I do seed beadwork (used to use size 11 and now, usually 13/15). Over the years they have really increased their selection. Any questions that I’ve had about beads, thread or needles, have been answered knowledgeably. The staff is always polite and helpful. And I never feel rushed. When I browse for ideas or to begin a project, I may stay for an hour or more and I always am comfortable to shop. Thank you for offering this specialty shop here. Highly recommend.
