I am so grateful for the beautiful job that J&J did for our winery. We had 33 cushions reupholstered. They found the fabric that we wanted, which websites said were out of stock. The work was done efficiently and when there was a difference in cushions, which we didn't notice, they caught it and created a perfect fit. Thank you all for the wonderful work, we a very pleased!

I searched for over a year to find a fabric for our loveseat. In desperation, I emailed Jennifer, who immediately responded with the perfect choice. I asked if she could arrange for me to receive a sample and she already had it sent, anticipating my needs. Jennifer knows fabrics. She is knowledgeable and professional and a pleasure to work with. Her suggestions were very helpful. We were so pleased with Jennifer that we had J & J redo our kitchen chairs and our outdoor lounger (Jennifer found the fabric to match the rest of our set.).

J & J just finished replacing the straps underneath the cushions of my screen porch wicker furniture. I thought it to be a little pricey at first but the quality of their work is above all else. Yes, I would highly recommend! I am very pleased with their work. We have used them before that’s why I keep going back.

I have known Judy, the owner of J&J (formerly Hughes Upholstery), for over 20 years. My last experience was not professional nor pleasant. After getting the estimates for reupholstering a sofa, loveseat, 2 chairs, 4 cornice boards, several pillows, and a bed bench the final cost was not a surprise since I know that John does excellent work. I noticed that shipping charges would be applied since the shop did not have the large amount of fabric I chose for reupholstering. When I noticed the shipping charges ($50.00 for the furniture fabric and possible $28.00 for the cornice boards), I did not understand why I as the customer should absorb this charge since my total cost would be more than $6,000.00. I was informed by the owner that this is not Amazon Prime. So needless to say, I will not accept this unprofessional comment from anyone. Email communications were slow. First emails during the second week of Oct 2020, were great discussing measurements and sending pictures. I did not get a response until I called the second week of January 2021. Finally, I get an email from Jennifer on 17 Jan 2021. With the lack of customer focus, I chose to patron elsewhere. J&J may be the only game in Stafford, not where I live, which is Prince William County.

Perfect and precise job, at low cost, clear communication, and quality customer servise; these are some of reasons I am spending time to leave a 5-star review for J&J Upholstry. John, the specialist, is on top of his job, very knowledgeable, and creative. He came with great ideas and quickly showed me an example of the job so we would know how the final product looks like. Trust him with suggestions and solutions. Jennifer provided quality customer service and well arranged the interactions. The owner, I can't recall her name, really cares about customers, by clearly discussing options and terms up front, and the community, with her support packages during the pandemic. I genuinly appreciate and admire that.

Found everything I'd been looking for and quite a few items that caught my eye. Staff are great! Personalized and friendly service which is hard to come by these days.The $10.00 bag idea was wonderful. I filled to the brim and it will add beauty to many a project. Definately coming back soon.

I've used J&J to make drapes for my home. Also had them reupholster some antique chairs, which came out beautifully. Highly recommend.

Had a great first experience with J and J. My West Elm ottoman was structurally sound but the leather was peeling and unsightly. I was instructed to email photos and measurements for a labor estimate. Once I received and approved of the labor cost I was scheduled a time to visit the shop and select a fabric. A final cost was calculated including the cost of fabric and protectant. I then paid a deposit and scheduled a drop off date for my project to be started. It took about two weeks and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I have a beautiful, new, updated piece of furniture! I am already planning my next project with J and J.

We've had J&J Upholstery reupholster our dining room chairs, a couple of ottomans, and a bench. Great folks and fantastic work. Yes, you may have to wait a bit because of the demand for their service but the wait is worth it!

Thanks for all your patience and amazing work! You expedited the work so I could bring these cushions to South Carolina, before my tenants started coming to my beach house. I love them, and with your guidance of what material too choose, I am sure the cushions will survive for many years!
