My car was damaged by a hit and run incident. This shop did an outstanding job on the body work and painting, you cannot tell it was ever damaged. The work was completed on time, they communicated status updates regularly and the customer service by everyone I dealt with was excellent. This review is to warn and let everyone ..know about such terrible experience I went through with auto shop. I brought my brand new car in his shop on August 16th, 2017 (wednesday) to get my roof wrapped & my windows tinted. He gave me the total price & I agreed. I was scheduled to pick up my car on August 18th (friday). I got there at 11:30 am but car wasn’t ready and while waiting, (the owner) mentioned that there were lines of bumps under the roof wrap and confirmed that it was a "MANUFACTURER PAINT DEFECT" and not a debris and told me I had to bring it to Subaru. I paid him off & took my car the same day to Subaru. 2 representatives and one of them is a 3M certified worker in the Subaru service department inspected my car and noticed deep scratches on both sides by the front side mirrors, a dent on the roof & folded headliners. He said they want the wrap taken off so they can inspect the “paint defect” so I called Jess immediately and he told me to come in Monday morning so we can figure it out. August 21st, 2017 (Monday) I brought my car in and spoke to owner (at that time he was already talking to the Subaru service reps) and he told his staff to bring my car inside their garage. Then 20 minutes later, he came out telling me it’ll take awhile to get the adhesive out and that it might just be a clear coat that caused the line bump on the wrap and told me to just come back later. At that time, I was thinking that they already got everything taken care off. When I came back to pick up my car, he wasn’t there so his staff gave me my keys. The wrap was off at that point and I saw more damage by the antenna (pointy bump probably caused by a tool that poked the roof while taking the antenna off). I called owner right away & he denied all of it and started sounding aggressive over the phone. I took the car back to Subaru and they said they don’t see any paint defect at all. (NOTE: but all the scratches, dents & folded headliners still there) Subaru confirmed it wasn't paint defect & that it's definitely caused by such poor application on the wrap & window tints. IT WAS NOT A MANUFACTURER DEFECT and if it was it would be fully covered by the brand new car warranty. I then called the owner & told him about what Subaru had told me and he still denied it. He then tells me that I scratched my OWN car to get money off of him & his business. He started threatening me saying he has his own lawyer & that he is a very "powerful" person. I went back Monday afternoon to Extreme after I took it to Subaru to resolve the issue and show them all the dents & damages. owner and 3 of his staff are there. owner told me I had no right to record or videotape anything going on inside his office. He told me he had high connections and lawyers to deal with people like me (with high tone of voice). I felt threatened being there. P.S. one of his staff named Chris had mentioned that he did see the dent before I left the shop and I mentioned that to owner and all he said that it didn't matter what his staff saw or said. I have been stressing out about all the damage & stress this has caused me. It's a brand new car and according to Owner "I scratched & dented my OWN car" just to get money off of him and ruin his business. Why would I go through such big hassle like that when I make enough money? All I wanted was to get all the damage fixed but owner didn't want to resolve the issue. I really feel harassed and threatened. I had to lower my pride while talking to him because I was honestly getting scared but after I had a conversation with one of the previous victims, I had the courage to post this honest review.
