*Don't Go Here* Rude Rude Rude Rude. Seems that if you aren't part of their in crowd that they don't want you there. Came in and asked for the tour, they were Rude. Tried to ask about membership packages and they were Rude. I walked out.

Doesn't allow gest anymore after 8pm. Pool also closes an hour early now and isn't going back to regular hours even in summer. Supposedly the rule is only a month old or two but they never said anything and turned everyone away today.

Homestead Fitness Center has a great pool where we bring our girls for lessons. They are almost 6 and almost 4 and have been really enjoying learning from their instructor and gaining confidence. The facility is nice and the staff is quite friendly. Recommended.

I really enjoy the gym, could be a bit more space. It works though. Lots of good weights and overall good running machines. What I enjoy the most is the pool. It’s not the deepest but it’s nice to do laps. On a sunny day it’s a beautiful place to swim at. I don’t know if you will ever find a perfect gym, but this is very close! Come on up to lynden! It’s worth it!

Tried the one week guest membership for seniors. Pool is great and surprised by indoor outdoor. Water aerobics class was well paced and instructor was friendly and didn't make you feel awkward if not doing things right. Men and women joined in the class. Nice showers and lockers for daily use. Will bring hat to wear for shade when the sun is shining. More to report after next visit

I wish there was a zero stars option. I joined this gym about four years ago or so I thought I was joining. I never got the membership card and never heard a word from anyone there. I never received emails, mail or anything regarding membership. I have many monthly deductions for various services charged to my personal account and rarely, that is until recently paid much attention to them. I got a call from HFIT saying I needed to update my card information. When I spoke to the person at the gym I said I would not be updating my card since I never used the facility. NOT ONCE! The representative was adamant about me at least paying for 1 more month, she even threatened sending me to collections! They got four years in dues without a single usage and still have the gall to demand more? I was not even aware I was a member since NO follow up was ever done with me including no membership card. They apparently only care about their members when it comes to getting their monthly payment. NOT GOOD! I refer many of my customers to local businesses daily. This establishment just got on my beware don't go there list. Too bad.

I’m really over this gym. It used to be so great. Now it’s so extremely expensive for the same old gym and pool it’s always been. I’m unimpressed with the pool locker rooms and hot tubs in terms of cleanliness these should be the most spotless places in a gym/spa. I very rarely am pleased with the customer service at the desk or over the phone. I understand not being happy with your job or not making enough money, dealing with unruly customers or whatever but theres people paying more than most gyms and spas to get talked down to and basically just not spoken to with general respect. It’s also kind of frustrating that I came in asking for a month to month membership and then ended up getting a 12 month contract, and while I should have read the fine print and that’s on me, I don’t think its right that they don’t really explain the different membership options or the cancellation fee when youre signing a contract, especially when a monthly membership is what was asked for, cheaper monthly, and there’s no cancellation fee, it seems like they just want to screw over their members. They’ve becomre far more strict about the silliest rules while not really making much of an effort to better themselves.

I froze my account and I’m a member and I still ha e to pay a fee of 12$ that dosint make sense they should be Abel to unfreeze it. If your looking for a gym I wouldn’t go there at least to freez your account then pay additional 12$ to work out till it’s unfrozen.

Extremely dated cardio equipment. There are no personal TV screens on any elliptical, treadmill, or stationary bike. There are perhaps 4 TVs scattered around with news broadcasts. Be prepared to entertain yourself with podcasts, etc. The cup holders/bottle holders are not great, either, so balancing or securing your stuff can be tricky. The machines appear to date to the ‘90s, which might be back when the gym was built. There is visibly cracked and dirty plastic on them and several do not operate smoothly. There is a lot of carpeting. If you think a gym should have all “scrubbable” surfaces, you might not like it. The layout is small, closed-in, circuitous and odd; I don’t know which way you would run in case of an emergency, other than to the front door, where you are greeted with stairs. It’s a dangerous pinch point. The windows cannot be opened as they’ve removed the handles! The place is crammed with equipment and you have to jockey for what you want. “Open-concept” was not a desired feature back in 1990, I think. Low ceilings ruled the day. The bathroom/locker rooms have odd angles, too. The swimming pool is smaller than a hotel pool. Half of it is outdoors, half indoor. The locker rooms are quite small and the “dry” (non-pool) locker room is carpeted. The group fitness room is upstairs. Instead of a full wall or two of mirrors, as in a typical dance studio, etc, there’s one wall with 4 mirrors spaced apart. Overall, this gym was built as an afterthought, designed by someone who never used gyms, to simply go along with the golf course and restaurant. That was back in a time when only the well-off bothered with a gym membership. Or people signed up but then didn’t keep at it. Today, people of all stripes and ages use gyms and many of them go daily. This place hasn’t kept up with the times. I’d love it if they went back to the drawing board... Out in the large parking lot, build a new single-level, more open-layout gym, with high ceilings. In the meantime, gut the existing fitness center and transform it into a small climbing gym, dedicated yoga, kickboxing, other fitness class or dance class studio; or some other kid venue, like arcade or something. It doesn’t seem the steakhouse is packin’ ‘em in these days, so losing some parking spots in favor of an updated, functional, user-friendly gym, would benefit all. If you build it, they will come. Quit treating Lyndenites like a captive audience.

A beautiful course at affordable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Make sure to finish your experience with a visit to the 9 Bistro and Bar for a bite and a cold one. 8 taps and a full bar. The Kobe burgers are outstanding. The bar has a friendly, attentive staff that will round out your visit perfectly.
