I actually really liked this place in the past because they always had pretty good prices on meats and produce. Today, I bought some “fresh” looking salmon and when I got home to cook it, it smelled rancid. I am so disappointed. Seafood is so expensive and then to have to throw it out is upsetting.

I like the convenience of this market and I like how it’s not too overwhelming. It has just about all the basics and I would give it 5 stars if not for the deli. The cashiers and other employees are kind but the deli where you can get food and drinks and pickled veggies and dipping fish sauce is not my favorite. I get anxiety if I have to get anything from their because I’m always ignored. The ladies in the back will make eye contact with you and then ignore you. You physically have to flag them down and ask them with confidence what you want. I asked for dipping fish sauce and I was told “no” twice … I’ve gotten the fish sauce and pickled veggies before so I’m not sure why I was blatantly rejected … maybe I wasn’t speaking up enough? But I had waited so long just to be noticed that I really didn’t want to leave without getting what I was after. I was kind and gentle about it but I left the store with a bitter feeling. I won’t stop going to this market but I try to avoid the deli.

A supermarket where you can get your Asian products, meats and produce. There's even a deli where you can get lunchbox takeout. They have a sizeable collections of snacks and noodles, however, there tends to be random boxed items from time to time on the floor.

They need a younger cashier or faster cashier, take forever, people don’t have time to wait

I like this place. I wish it was bigger, but they have a decent selection of asian goods. I wish there were more Indonesian items.

Mother- in- law tried to split pay cash and card. Told cashier beforehand. The cashier got angry and raised her voice asking why didn’t we tell her before?! My son was there! My husband stood behind, going to pay for separate groceries but he ended up paying for everything. She stopped yelling because my husband stepped in. Where did the rudeness come from?? First horrible service. Bad experience for my mother-in-law’s first time in Seattle.

Really disappointed in how the employees treat people here. I use an app called Too Good To Go where restaurants/grocery stores/etc can sell surprise bags of food that’s close to expiring or best by dates so the food doesn’t go to waste. I ordered from here yesterday and again today. I work from 3-9 every day so I asked my mom to pick up my orders for me. They were incredibly rude to her yesterday. Saying they wouldn’t give her my order because I wasn’t there and she didn’t have the app. Why would that matter? I sent her the info she needed, it shouldn’t have been a big deal. The man she spoke with allowed her to take the order this time but said he wouldn’t do it again. Me assuming he meant without her having the app, I ordered again to pick up today. She went in before the pick up window closed. She stood around trying to get someone to help her for over 45 minutes. When the man that talked to her yesterday finally graced her with his presence. He said he wouldn’t help her, he told her yesterday he wouldn’t do it again. She said she didn’t understand. She had the app and the code. He just kept repeating he wasn’t going to help her. Even though I had already paid for it, he was gate keeping my order because he “told her yesterday” I reported them to Too Good to Go but I just don’t understand why he wouldn’t let her grab my order. It’s so easy and simple yet he made it so dramatic and ridiculous. Made her seem like a “karen”

Great prices and good selection of meats and fresh produce and other goods. They have pre-made foods too. I have enjoyed their sticky rice/meat meals. I also buy their pickled daiko /carrots for Bahn mi sandwiches, great to just eat too. Employees are really nice and helpful but English may not be their first language or very limited. But we seem to manage to communicate.

I had to hold myself steady and not start jumping for joy when I found this place! Organized, tidy, wonderful store! Extra kudos because this is the only place I've been able to find custard powder and a few other items. My mooncakes (Taiwan style and Singapore style) cannot be made without the fresh, quality ingredients they offer here, including nice pandan leaves! Pure joy! Definitely worth a stop if you crave any Vietnamese food items so you can prepare a feast or just experiment. Love this store!
