Best grocery store in Seattle, Washington (WA) 2024

This is a neighborhood hub of activity and products. A much wider range of goods than a ordinary QFC or chain grocery store tend to stock. They will likely carry the things you shop for as staple pantry dependables: coffee and teas, wine and spirits, milk, eggs, spices, snacks, fresh fruit and veggies. They also have an onsite bakery and large deli with respectable cheese selection, ready to eat meals and choices from local restaurants. Hardware and home goods, office and school supplies (see pics). If you're into clearance goods check the second floor beyond the wine, isle 4...I love finding new things to try at half the price! ~phillip

I like the convenience of this market and I like how it’s not too overwhelming. It has just about all the basics and I would give it 5 stars if not for the deli. The cashiers and other employees are kind but the deli where you can get food and drinks and pickled veggies and dipping fish sauce is not my favorite. I get anxiety if I have to get anything from their because I’m always ignored. The ladies in the back will make eye contact with you and then ignore you. You physically have to flag them down and ask them with confidence what you want. I asked for dipping fish sauce and I was told “no” twice … I’ve gotten the fish sauce and pickled veggies before so I’m not sure why I was blatantly rejected … maybe I wasn’t speaking up enough? But I had waited so long just to be noticed that I really didn’t want to leave without getting what I was after. I was kind and gentle about it but I left the store with a bitter feeling. I won’t stop going to this market but I try to avoid the deli. ~Jessica

Great sandwiches and salads. I had the turkey avocado and split the cranberry chicken salad with the wife-ster. Everything was very tasty and unique to this place. Only thing we didn't like was the "self service" order pad that is not welcoming. Why should I leave a tip ( I did) when there is no hospitality, no recommendations avail, and the tables were dirty and u have to bus your own table. ~Monsieur

Love this Grocery store! Cashiers are very friendly and courteous! The meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy dinners are to die for! The lasagna dinners are awesome! The BBQ chicken is scrumptious! If you don't feel like cooking and you want a decent cooked meal. Belltown Grocery is the place to shop! ~Gregory
