8th st and 9th ave store. Around 8pm 3/2/21, I walked from my apt for cigarettes carrying my shoulder bag with my money, checks, bank cards and id. I walked into the store and the manager, Nathan, told me to leave my shoulder bag outside. I told him without cursing that my valuables were inside of the bag. (My money) He ended up telling me twice "get the f*** out of my store". I took down his name and left. We will see what customer service does about this matter.

Was denied use of restroom. In Cabell County if you serve hot food you can not deny access of a restroom. Was told its company policy to wear a mask. I can not due to health reasons, management asked what the reason was. I declined to answer. Told me not to come back.

The manager came out and ran me off with my tool belt, because a homeless drunk approached me and started talking to me. So she told me to go to the bus stop. I wait for my ride to work here every morning. I guess all I can do is ask for anyone who reads this to pray for the lady that works here to find her happy, and know that the true definition of peace and happiness is not the absence of problems in life , but the presence of God in her life.

I'm not exactly sure if this a reflection on the store or not. However this is what happened, I stopped in to purchase a pack of cigarettes and a few iced teas before going to work when a delivery truck arrived and blocked my vehicle in. When asked to move the rig driver was out right indigent.

This evening, I walked into the Speedway story at 9th Avenue and 8th Street in Huntington, WV, and purchased a package of cigarettes and a Powerball ticket. When I left the store, I stopped for maybe 30 seconds to check a text I had received while I was in line. Right then, the manager of the store walked out and very rudely told me that I could not stand in front of "her store" and ask people for money. Again, I had left the store less than a minute prior and did not speak to anyone. When I told her that I was not asking people for money, and I had in fact just made a purchase in the store, she snapped at me and said that she would call the police if I didn't leave "her property," immediately. Not that it matters, but I was dressed for church, with pressed khakis, a button up dress shirt, and clean shaven with a black suede coat. I wasn't even slightly disheveled, not that that would be just cause to treat a customer in such a rude fashion. Once I was off "her property," I called the store in an attempt to get her name and the telephone number. I ended up calling two or three times. Each time, she refused to hear me out and give me her name or district manager's phone number. She said something like, "if you're going to cuss me..." and "if you're going to talk to me like that..." before hanging up on me. I did not cuss her and was not rude in any way. I simply tried to point out that if she felt like she was in the right, she should stand up for her decision and give me the number I requested and if she thought she was wrong, she should apologize. I'm not going to say that I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner, but it was up there. If you're going to call someone a bum, own it. Her name was Pernithia or something like that, and she was a manager wearing a black shirt. I am amazed that someone who would handle a customer service situation in such a mean, disrespectful, and rude fashion would ever be promoted to a managerial position. I had literally left the store 30 seconds before she jumped all over me and called me a degenerate in front of other customers. It was disgusting and embarrassing and I'll never go in that store again. I'm not the guy that tries to get someone fired who, perhaps, just had a bad day. I've never felt the need to do this before in my life. I I've worked in customer service before and understand what it's like, but this was absolutely ridiculous and totally uncalled for. She had no right to treat me like that, and the fact that she did it so quickly and with so little tact is alarming. The thought that my mother might go in that store and be treated in that way makes me angry and I would advise anyone who reads this to patronize local businesses who need and care for their customers. Thank you. Again this was the store at 826 8th Street and this incident happened at about 7:20pm on January 6, 2016.

The place is always crowded. Like really crowded. Just keep in mind that you'll be waiting for whatever you went there for.
