There is no better bread anywhere! My favorites are Expedition Bread and Cranberry Walnut Bread.

Real food. Real bread. Easy to digest. The cookies (especially the gingerbread), cherry scones, croissants, brioche and hot cereal mix are all treat. A successful, tried and true, home delivery offering allows those in the delivery area year round access to the rotating menu.

Just started purchasing their bread again—previously from the outdoors farmers market and most recently from the winter market in the new Garver's Mill building. Really high quality bread that has a different taste and effect than even other high quality artisan bread. They appear to have their own proprietary wheat—a type of kamut. I highly recommend that people give it a chance—take a loaf home, slice it up and toast it to pull out all the flavor.

Wow, what an experience this place is. The bakery is about 30 minutes removed from Madison, but the drive out there is a beautiful drive. Some friends and I ordered our pizzas earlier in the day, which I HIGHLY encourage. We pulled in 30 minutes early and their was a live band playing a bonfire going. It felt like you were transported to the Appalachian Mountains. To speak to the food, it was fun and delicious. The pizzas had very fresh ingredients and unique combinations. They were all very well put together and had that signature crusty bottom from the wood fired oven. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

Wednesday night pizza on the farm... So much fun on the farm, there are always a number of kids running around having a great time! The pizza is amazing, and the love music is wonderful. A local summer must!

There food is wonderful, but their wait time is atrocious. I've gotten their baked goods at their booth at the farmers market, but went to their brick and mortar location. Waited 90 minutes for a pizza and my friends and I's orders werent even close to being done. Apparently the secret for that is to call ahead before you drive there so the wait time would be shorter.

During the spring and summer months, we enjoy visiting this farm for their Pizza-on-the-Farm events. They are typically every Wednesday evening and feature a unique offering of farm to table pizzas, each handcrafted and cooked in a wood-fired pizza oven. As if the one of a kind pizza offerings weren't enough to make the trek out to the country, they also bring in different live music each week. I recommend phoning in your order way ahead of time, as there is a long wait otherwise. The events are very kid friendly, but they no longer allow dogs.

Can be long wait for pizza.. just settle in, have a beer or 2, listen to the music and enjoy today

This is based on their Wednesday night music and pizza event. The atmosphere is great, the beer selection is good, and the pizza itself is tasty. If the weather is nice, call ahead or be prepared to potentially wait hours (literally) for food.
