Not too bad for a Northwoods grocery store. They close early like the rest of the town.

The Ice cream window outside sold us ice cream tonight. A young man stood waiting behind us while we ordered. When my husband paid it was 6 o clock on the dot and the two men working told the young man they would not give him ice cream as it was 6 pm. Never again will we support this place. We are not tourists either we have a home here.

Closest grocery store to our campsite. It's a Trigs so it has the same look and feel of it larger stores. Prices are high but you are paying for the convenience of not having to drive 30 minutes. Selection was good. We will go again.

I really like this place except for the pricing. As a local, I am retired and have very little to squander. I would think the owner would realize who mainly comes here through the tough times and cut his prices accordingly.

Neat little grocery store for the small town that it's in. Good selection of meats. They have Trig's smokehouse products and a small bakery and deli. Good liquor selection. Produce is a little high but fresh and plentiful. Lots of dairy and frozen choices. Clean and friendly too

Convenient store, prices aren't too high (although my in-laws who live in Manitowish Waters swear they get old fruit from other Trigs stores instead of fresh stuff). Only complaint is limited choices for those with food allergies (they used to have many non-dairy cheeses but now lack them).

We spend 10 days each year in Manitowish Waters. Usually we would stock up on food from the Madison Costco. We came to find out that the food quality at this store, as well as prices, are excellent. No need to haul a giant cooler. Great wine selection, cold cuts, dips, cheeses as well as anything else. A great place!

I needed to buy some meat for a corned beef party I was having, It was going to have the works, corned beef, and more corned beef. I came to village market in high hopes to acquire the juiciest beef I could find. Upon entering the store I was assaulted by this person pictured below, I walked nearly 5 steps and she came cartwheeling down the isle. I was immediately roundhouse kicked to the jaw and fell on the floor in shock. She screamed something in a language long forgotten and I felt my spirit fly out of my vessel briefly. Upon reentry I found her twisting and cracking my spine before she slithered away. I lay there for 10 minutes asking for help but no one would help me. I crawled to my car and suddenly realized I felt no pain. I stood up and my chronic arthritis that I've had for 12 years was gone. I've never felt better and the prices were competitive. I would highly recommend!

For a small town Village Market carries most items I need. They have a nice Vegetable and Fruit section as well as a meat market with butcher on hand. The Deli carries some if the best lunch meats I have had anywhere. Wine and beer? They have a great selection of those items too. Also the small cafe has Ice cream and treats which are especially good on a warm summer day. This store supports a Brat stand for local organizations to earn extra money during the spring and summer time.
