Under new management, it definitely seems like they care about the business. The staff are extremely considerate and the experience was very pleasant. They keep their promise of keeping the store open the usual hours no matter what. Driving past the place before the place re-opened, I noticed they even did a thorough cleaning of their kitchen equipment (something I never see with other fast-food establishments).

Under new ownership! Had a get together Saturday night, ordered the party pac of subs. Fresh and perfect amount of deli meat. The sub sandwich’s were a hit! This will definitely be something I’ll be doing again.

(Under New Ownership) Armando is the best manager ever. He's great at problem solving. We had an issue with our order he was helpful via fixing the issue and revolving our problem. We love Armando's management skills. We will be back to this location for sure. Keep up the great work Armando!

Cousins is one of my family’s favorite local sub shops, unfortunately a particular staff member (older female with many tattoos )the last few visits has treated myself and other customers disrespectful and complains when they order too much food and don’t call ahead. It really seems she hates her job and working and takes it out on customers. Really a terrible business practice and experience if they want to remain open ! They should be happy that customers are keeping them in business. I didn’t think ordering 5 subs was too much for 3 staff members to handle? An older gentleman politely stated, he tried to call ahead but no one answered the phone the 3 times he called for over an hour with no answer. I generally use the on line ordering app, but was driving on my way home from work when my family called to ask if I could have a treat and pick up some subs for dinner that night . With the economy in the worst shape in my lifetime and gas & inflation at record highs spending $60-70 on subs is sometimes a little luxury even in Mequon folks. I understand a lot of business are short staffed but this was not the case that particular night ( 2 teenager staff members and the older female employee were all working ) John, the owner was not at the store that particular evening. She blamed to the older customer , john for not being around to answer the phone . Total of 5 customers in the store at the time , 3 had orders in process and were waiting for the orders and 2 waiting to order (myself and an older gentleman) Both myself and the older customer were patient in waiting in line not saying a thing. The employee was making subs and said rudely you’ll just have to wait , so I waited 2 minutes patiently Understand they were busy around 5pm dinner rush . The employee then started to take my order I ordered 2 of the same subs Steak Phillie and she rudely stopped me and said how many subs are you ordering and I said 5 ( which 2 were going to be just a plain cheese subs so not a hard Order , but she didn’t let me finish ) rudely just turned around and went back to the grill and said well you’ll just have to wait , you come in here a lot why didn’t you call a head!??! To my earlier note that wouldn’t have mattered since no one was answering the phone anyways from the older customers experience waiting in line with me ! The other customer we as shocked as I was she was being so rude to customers . Well I waited another minute being ignored then turned around and left with out ordering I said the well I guess you don’t need my business if you don’t want to take my order and walked out . I then drove down to Jimmy John’s and got my subs. They were incredibly busy 20 people in line or waiting but plenty of staff and the ordering went smoothly. I wasn’t rudely complain to by staff for ordering 5 subs or ignored ! Sorry for the long review but wanted John the owner to understand and be aware that these continued terrible experience, is really hurting his local business. I love cousin subs and a long time customer , but will not be back at the Mequon location until that employee changes her attitude or learns how to treat customers . Sad but True and just wanted to keep everyone informed on the recent state of business at Cousins Subs Mequon location. I have never felt more insulted that a business didn’t want my hard earned dollars , to help support their local business model which is to make quality subs for customers! Update it’s been over 3 weeks and no response from cousins locally or the corporate web site . I immediately filled out the same information on the recommended cousins customer service website and still no response. Only the automated response directing to the customer service site . It’s Very unfortunate that cousins doesn’t seem to care about it’s customers and providing them with great service. Adios Cousins !

One more Mequon sandwich place we cannot be customers of. They are always closed. Then today I ordered delivery, found out it was through door dash. They forgot half the order. Door dash couldn't resolve and the store had left it on the counter and couldn't do anything about it.

Saturday, online order. Come in, 3 young kids working at a snails pace. Their obvious friends come in and served on the spot, waited for food - mentioned I had a pick up, said waiting on fries, they made fries and took care of their buddies. Nobody over the age of 18 here today to be responsible I guess ….

Forgot I said I wouldnt be back because the sandwich maker didnt change gloves. Maybe 5 years ago So today I seemed to interupt workers conversations. She walked in back as soon as I came in. Took my order very matter of factly. Didn't bother to ask if my order was here or togo, tell me there was no ice, or hand me a cup. After I got my order the conversation continues and gets louder and I hear the F word, the S word twice. Apparently she was talking about another female because "she" was in every sentence. And the tv was on instead of music. I'll keep coming just to see if anything changes...

Of no fault of the employees, they were seriously understaffed & disorganized. Our food was correct but we had to remind them of the items that should be on the sandwich based on the menu. Walking out, my husband stated he would not return to that particular Cousins even if they gave him free subs.

I went to this cousins today to grab some sandwiches and the two girls working there could not have been more rude. It takes a lot for me to write a bad google review, but this bothered me for the rest of my day. Either they were in a fight and hate each other or hate their job. The only reason I gave a star here is because cousins sandwiches don't deserve the bad review, but the customer service does. These girls need to learn to say hello, thank you, have a nice day, make eye contact and get the scowls off their faces. The one roles her eyes when I ordered the cheese steak because she had to cook something. Really terrible.
