Great place to stop for a good ol bar burger and fries. I always wash it down with a cold frosty mug of Sprecher’s root beer, which they have on tap. Good food, reasonable prices, and always friendly service. And the place is loaded with history. It’s out in the middle of nowhere, so there are lots of scenic backroads to enjoy on the ride to and from it.

Stopped by twice now and enjoyed this "off route" stop. Good drinks, friendly service and the food looked great both times. Can't wait to go again and eat!

Solid place in the mid part of the state. Local favorite. Have been coming here a couple of times as we own land close to where they have their establishment. Can get busy sometimes. Have a GREAT fish fry and a pizza that is delicious. More than just an "Up North" bar and grill it has real hospitality and welcomes all through its doors.

What a great experience. In spite of being packed, our waitress was pleasant and we never wanted for anything. This was seriously the best fish fry I've ever had in my life. The fish was juicy, the breading crisp, and the broasted fries were perfect. Also came with fresh all you can eat soup and salad bar. If you go for Friday fish fry they start serving at 4:30. If you don't want to wait I would get there before 4:30. When we left at about 5:15 the bar and dining rooms were both packed and you'll be waiting for a table.

Last Friday 8/3 was my first time there and we had 8 people in our group we only had to wait a short time to be seated, wait staff was excellent as was the food, good selection on menu will definitely go back again.
