They approached me when I walked in the door and they told me they needed my backpack to put it up by the check outs check outs my backpack is my purse they sell them at stores it had all my personal goods in it I would never ever do that give someone my purse you need to change the policy they said that's the policy that is really really bad and you also have cameras outside to stop from people stealing

If I could give a zero as a rating I would. I used to work here and they have taken money from my checks and put it into an account number completely different from mine and til this day they have not given me the money. When I quit, they put that they terminated me. When I tried to get into contact with HR, they did nothing about it. I also have asked for the numbers to call the people above my boss at the time and no one would give it to me. I have two kids to take care so I wasn’t gonna work at a job that takes money from me and expects me to do extra than what I’m paid to do as well.

These stores have really upped their game! The remodeled stores and great new selection including the addition to many Dollar Tree items not to mention a friendly staff make this a welcome addition to my neighborhood. The improved grocery Dept is a lifesaver

I been asked to leave this place because i refused to give up my backpack to the casher... no one have to give up anything to casher just because you don't trust us. plus you got camera everywhere in the store and you wanna me give up my backpack ha you funny!

I've always enjoyed shopping at this store. The prices are great and the staff have been most helpful. Onto my observations; The store layout is very straightforward, it's similar to a larger grocery store but things are streamlined (which one would expect) but their choice in what products to carry given their limited floor space has rarely left me not finding those things I needed. I only show cased a couple of products but it's best to go in there yourself and see what they have. If you're not sure, make sure and call ahead and ask them if there is something you have questions about. The hold times are pretty reasonable if you do call and customer service is very knowledgeable. The one and only critique I have is that the store doesn't look very clean. In their defense, all the Family Dollar stores I've been to have the same look. I'm sure that it's not their intention (corporate) but if you walk into a Walmart let's say; the tiles are bright white, the fluorescent lamps are bright white and you just feel like it's newer. Definitely pay them a visit and don't be shy - become a regular, check out their reg tag sales and grab a flyer.

Prices may be great, but I think they really need to clean up the store. The floors are disgustingly filthy. Probably haven't been swept or mopped in months. Which makes me hesitant to purchase any food or baby items due to the dirt. The last time I was there I was treated very rudely by the cashier. I had gone in to get a litter scoop and not seeing any on the shelves asked if they were still carrying them. I was told yes. So I inquired if they possibly had any in the back. I was told rather rudely that "if you don't see it on the shelf, obviously then we are out of litter scoops right now. Common sense lady." If this is how Family Dollar treats their potential customers, I will be taking my money and my business elsewhere!

Upon walking in this morning, I was immediately told that I can not shop with my purse. Strange that when I'm dressed for the day and wearing makeup the same manager doesn't even check my ID for certain purchases. The regional manager would not even speak to me. I went to the Sawyer st location where I was treated very well. I was a customer at this location for 12 years.
