What a disappointment - I wish I could get zero stars. I walked into the branch after speaking to multiple people on the phone telling me MULTIPLE different things in regards to changing my last name and what was exactly needed. One person from the branch told me I need an appointment the other told me I could come in at anytime. So I came in during my lunch hour after driving 20 minutes to the branch to find out not only do i NEED AN APPOINTMENT but I need 2 other things that i was told I didn't need on the phone. Then I told the lady that I will just call and make the change with their customer service center and she told me I couldn't do that. Went on and on how it has to be done in the branch...yada yada. Incredibly rude. Incredibly unprofessional. Incredibly sarcastic. After 15 minutes of sitting on the phone with US bank in the portage branch parking lot..my last name change was updated and I should have my updated card in 3-5 business days for my checking. My credit card could take up to 15 business days to arrive to me after the change is verified. The process was super easy and FRIENDLY. I expressed what I went through with the Portage branch to the representative on the phone and she informed me there are multiple ways to do that WITHOUT the branch...so that lady was inaccurate and super snotty for being incorrect. This branch is clearly not on the same page, nor educated in what US Bank can actually do, how the changes can be made, etc. I will drive to any other branch for service no matter how far it is to avoid having to deal with them again. avoid. avoid. avoid. We will be taking majority of our banking elsewhere because the customer service has drastically gone down hill.

All very nice, but very slow to just make a deposit. Not sure if need more help. Took 20min to make deposit & didn't even wait for receipt!

Myself and my significant other opened a checking account at this location. For the first 4 months, these folks were great !! Then we started getting attitude from various tellers. We hold yard sales on a regular basis and try to always have 200 to 300 in change and small bills. We started getting grilled about it. We both have accounts there and our money goes there, so not understanding the problem or the attitude, we have decided to close our account and bank elsewhere where our business is appreciated.

Sheena Hoff: I am writing to you to file a complaint and post this review about the service that I was treated to in your bank last Friday, August 2nd, 2019. This is in regards to your Assistant Branch Manager, Amanda “Joy”. I had a very simple transaction of wanting to break down a $100 dollar bill. I was standing at the teller window when your Assistant Branch Manager, Amanda “Joy” rudely snapped, “CAN I HELP YOU??” Her demeanor and attitude was very unprofessional and she seemed extremely stressed out. I said to her, “Hi. How are you?” She said, “FINE”. I explained to her that I wanted the $100 bill broken down to smaller bills. She took my bill hastily out of my hand and went to the bank drive up window. She came back and hastily counted the bills out on the counter. She had never asked me how I wanted the bills broken down. She had given me way too many singles, and I had told her if I could get one five for the extra singles. She then rolled her eyes and blew out a “pfft”. I then proceeded to ask for her name and the 1st thing she had said to me was, “Why do you want my name? Are you going to complain?” She had told me her name was Amanda, and had led me to believe that her last name was “Joy”. I had asked for her business card, but she had lied to me again and said she doesn’t have business cards. She had kept on asking me if I was going to complain. Before I had left the teller window, I said to her, “You need to excel on your customer service skills. I ended putting her name “Amanda “Joy” on another bank teller’s card. I was humiliated and incredibly flabbergasted by her behavior and extreme rudeness. Someone with such poor people skills and a lack of common courtesy should not work in customer service, let alone be an Assistant Branch Manager of a bank. I would like this personnel issue to be addressed immediately. Additionally, I have contacted US Bank Customer Service in NY and have filed an additional complaint with them.

I feel very blessed to have been helped by Ann at this location. I am from South Dakota and lost my wallet while at a theme park in wisconsin dells. I was absolutley terrified of what would happen with all of my cards lost. Ann helped us out and was just the friendly face we needed during my families ordeal. Thank you so much!!!

The hours posted online are absolutely wrong.... Says the drive up opens at 8... no, opens at 830. Then instead of having a little common courtesy after seeing us sitting in the parking lot waiting, the woman in the drive up tells us we have to wait another 30 minutes to cash checks because we don't have an account, when could have just as easily cashed the checks drawn on this bank... I wonder why we wouldn't have an account here...

If I could give them 0 I would... I had to go here twice to pay a bill through them and BOTH people couldn't understand what I was saying and DIDNT KNOW how to do it and caught an attitude with me when I was telling them not to take out a lot of money and she messed up my repayment plan so I had to make two. Never going to this place again!! Worst one out of all the ones I been to!!
