Stopped in on a lark, and was totally surprised by how friendly and attentive the staff are. It's a little buffet style place, and everything was clean and orderly. Then we fixed a plate. The fried chicken was some of the best I've had. The sides were incredible too. When you find yourself driving anywhere, and you see a little roadside place. Stop and try it. Om glad we found this gem, and we'll be back.

Excellent price. Great food. Buffet with salad bar only. No cook to order. Scratch made fresh food. You can't beat the price (especially today!) Tried fried chicken, mac n cheese, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, macaroni salad and salad bar (fresh salad dressing yum). Everything delicious. Had no room left for soft serve ice cream :( Entire dining party agreed we will definitely return! Saturday Buffet $10.95/pp all u can eat plus drink.

Mildred's is a local favorite, although I have to drive 30 mins. to get there, but it is really worth it. Buffet is delicious, and the best fried chicken I've had in the area. Salad bar doesn't look like much, but it is fresh and has enough variety on it. I always have a salad there. The service is always friendly. I try to go at least a couple of times a month.

We went yesterday for lunch. It was pretty busy. Everything was very good. I was a little disappointed though, cabbage and greens weren't on the buffet. No big deal the fried chicken was great along with everything else I tried. My wife got the Swedish meatballs, she loved them. Salad bar looked fresh. Deserts looked good. I asked about the buffet items, it changes up daily. They were doing seafood last night. We'll be back. Service was fantastic.

The food was good, but the service was absolutely great! Definitely recommend the banana pudding. Our waitress Morgan was fantastic. Even though they were super busy, she still took such great care of us. She made the experience great, and we will definitely be back!

Mildred’s is great. I don’t often get to have home cooked homey classic southern food like that, and it took me back to my childhood. There’s a little something for everyone, and I tried a little of everything. Price is super reasonable, under $10 I believe per person. My favs: country fried steak and gravy, fried okra, green beans, and sweet cooked carrots. Least liked: banana pudding (it was warm), Brussels sprouts, and apple salad. 11/10

By far the best buffet food in north Alabama / southern Tennessee…. A variety of food, salad, and the best soft serve ice cream! Lunch time staff is amazing, Jennifer and Brandy are very friendly and have our drinks ready when coming in for lunch! They make you feel welcome as soon as the door opens, and always says goodbye on your way out the door!! 10 out of the10 for sure!

Buffet has a few different meats, tasty veggies and they have fried green tomatoes down to an art. I can't speak on the cake as I didn't make it past the banana pudding and peach cobbler. Salad bar looked good, maybe I'll make it there next time. Staff is fast and super friendly!

We were on a roadtrip on our way back from Gulf Shores, AL to Michigan when we discovered Mildred's. We like to eat local whenever we can so we were more than willing to go off the beaten path a bit to eat at Mildred's. The people are exceptionally warm and the buffet makes it fast. For my husband, daughter and I, we spent $45 with a healthy tip. Very affordable when you consider that included two soft drinks, salad bar, buffet bar, and dessert! Thanks, Mildred's, for your Southern hospitality!

Mildred's is a gem of a find for a good southern buffet. Very nice people! I enjoyed the salad bar, which had a cool southern Mildred's special. I tried it and it was good! The one dish (of many) seemed to have beans, ranch seasoning, corn bread.. whatever it was went really well. The other bar had southern fried chicken, pork bbq, ham, all the sides I could want. This was what I wanted, and they didn't disappoint.
