Great service at the Woodlawn post office! The workers were helpful and assisted me in choosing the cheapest option for sending my package.

Dropped a package off in the blue box the post office has never found it and they don’t know what happened either lost 170 dollars and no way to get my money or the package back

Amazon sent me on a wild goose chase claiming that a package was supposed to be picked up at another post office, and they sent me here. The clerk wasn't able to fix my problem, and the package wasn't here, but she did take the time to explain what had likely happened, which I appreciated. + the mailman brought my package anyway, even if it was a day late. also the lobby is big, and it wasn't busy while I was there, so it seemed pretty easy to social distance compared to some places.

Claimed that my package was delivered because it was marked delivered....where is it? It's not where I live. Also, I receive other people packages ALL the time....can't trust this office to handle your personal mail nor packages.

I went by September 14th to pick up a package that was brought here because I put the wrong address in. The two women working were so helpful. My package was already Sent out to be returned to sender right before I got there but they spent time calling the carrier to get the address changed for me so it was delivered the next day instead of having me wait until it got returned to the sender.

It’s a well known issue that this post office delivers packages to the wrong addresses. When you try to call no one answers the phone. Thankfully we have great neighbors that typically drop the package off at the right address but usually a day or two after it’s been marked delivered.

I must say I do not like the customer service here. I wish the postal manger would better train thier people. I asked for ten American Flag stamps and she counts out ten books of stamps and knew I was asking for ten stamps only. This woman got attitude about breaking up stamps. If this is way the employees at this branch act I wont be spending my hard earned money here anymore!

I hate to trash the whole agency, but the purpose of the post office is to facilitate mail delivery, and the carrier who services my neighborhood is a lazy sack of [advertiser friendly content] who can make up whatever story they want about why they couldn't do their job and the office will back them up. I've had nothing but bad experiences with any parcel bigger than a standard envelope, and everyone I've talked to in my neighborhood tells the same story. Don't give these people your business. Use UPS or someone similar. You may pay a bit more, but at least you'll get what you pay for.

ordered a very expensive package and included in my notes do not leave on ground. Hell, If you deliver in the neighborhood you should no not to leave packages exposed anywhere outside. Called to complain to 1800 number and to dispute the charge with credit card company. I am not paying for something I never received. It says that they delivered the item to an individual but how is that so when I am the only one who lives here. People if you have to deal with this post office get a PO BOX never trust the actual mail carriers who open your mail, loose your mail or take your mail or in my case dont deliver the mail or the packages.at all. WOODLAWN BRANCH IS HORRIBLE. This is why everything has moved from this area.

I hate living in this office's coverage. I request anything but USPS whenever I order something online and they have a comment box available. Roughly 60% of my packages don't get delivered and are returned to sender if I don't catch it via tracking. I've had packages overnighted from overseas to Birmingham only to sit at this office "lost" for 4 days. The packages I do get, I have to go to the office a number of times before I'm able to actually receive it. If it comes through here, you can expect a week added to your shipping time.
