Honestly I was really excited and everything I got a few item due that I was on a rush. I went to the fast check out and the lady rudely point it to the other check out even though there was no one behind me and the other cash register had a lady paying and btw the cashier was having problems there. I waited there even though she could have helped me she was just standing there doing nothing and i was waiting for the cashier to finish with the person in front of me. I was upset more because I only had 6 items and she refused to help me. I'm never going there again she made me feel so upset. It was a disgusting experience. Never again I'll rather drive a few more minutes and go to target where they always treat people so nice and have self checkouts.

As of 2022 Publix is now my all time favorite grocery store/super market of all time even including The Food World I used to work for simply for one reason and one reason only. FRESH MADE TO ORDER SUSHI BY A REAL AUTHENTIC, GENUINE, JAPANESE SUSHI CHEF that has been clocked in and wide open as a peanut hull EVERYTIME I have had the opportunity to duck in here for my lunch shopping over the course of the past few months and let me tell you all, the quality, quantity, presentation, availability, diversity, originality, product knowledge, authenticity, flavor, variety, packaging, condiment selection, chopstick availability and friendly attitude, all at an extremely reasonable price I might add, made my experiences here second to none!!! Well SECOND ONLY TO THE VESTAVIA HILLS LOCATION THE WEEK PRIOR. Kudos!!!!!! Publix Excellent SUSHI And the only retail location that sells Blue Cherry Gatorade, by the six pack for our work cooler.

Always a pleasure. No rainchecks given on our of stock sale item, but it was water so that was to be expected. Restrooms were clean and stocked. Store was clean. Employees friendly and helpful.

The only thing that would have made it better is if they had apartments in the parking deck area. Top notch selection of foods, great pricing, and friendly staff. The store was clean, the food off the hot and cold deli was like being in mommas kitchen. I will be returning.

Only grocery store I every had to park in a parking deck to get to... So I was a lil weary at first but I parked as close to the elevator as I could and as soon as the elevator does opened I was in a beautiful tidy and pleasant Publix. Drastic change from the dreary dark parking deck and not disappointing at all! I asked for help on a specific item. 3 people helped me and then they went to the back and got one for me. When I was in line a cashier saw that a few customers were waiting and quickly opened another line. Very helpful and professional! Will definitely return!!💖

Always clean and pleasant. I'm able to park close to the elevators. Lines are never too long. They always have at least three lines open or more. And the deli and meat department always have fresh food.

My husband and I just moved into the area from out of state and have been treated so well by everyone at this Publix. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Especially, Ree Ree in the deli and the manager and gentlemen who helped me take my heavy items to my car after recently having a back procedure. Thank you all for a true Southern hospitality welcome.

I needed boxes to help a friend move. I called at the beginning of the week and Tyler, the grocery manager, not only promised to collect boxes for me, but also told me which boxes would be best for the task, and said he would leave a note for the other departments to hold boxes as well. He told me when to call back (later that week) and when I did, even though he wasn't there, the boxes were. They loaded them into the car for me and everything! This is just my most recent pleasant experience with this location! I have never had anything but amazing encounters with phenomenal people here!

Great full supermarket in Downtown. Large selection of so much to choose from. The store noticeable has a lack of emphasis on health items. Nothing whole grain in bakery, nothing healthy in the deli etc. there is still so much in the fruits and veggies aisle and prices are reasonable.
