Long lines disappear rapidly. By knowing that this store can bust out long checkout lines when in a rush, and during a rush helps keep myself from worries of arriving for an appointment late.

Besides having some shady people in the store and some derelict out in the parking lot puking out their car door next to where I had parked....it was so so. The Dollar General in Daphne is better. Near Publix.

I love to clearance shop with Dollar General. Amelia is one of my top two favorite managers in Baldwin County. She's very sweet. Her store is always clean & organized.

The help seem to change on reg basis as i buy at many across gulf and this is sometimes a prob as i am disabled and deft.masks stop me from reading lips. Oh great . Only my prob. In all life.clean well stocked.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, but shelves seemed poorly stocked. Also some of the posted sales weren't ringing up and required manner overrides - and yet I still didn't get the items for the posted sales price.

The staff is nice but slow. This store is very busy because they keep good stock but they only have one register open. If the lot is full except a line.

One of my favorite places to shop... You have a very special person in Elizabeth who greets you and checks us out! Values on food is better than other grocery stores... Where I go first!

Good for a quick shopping trip. Easy to get in & out of the parking lot. They have a "department store" feel like a very small Walmart. The selection is more limited than Walmart, however it is much quicker than a Walmart trip since the store is smaller. They have cold food & shelved foods. They have all the essentials for a household. A toy section great for those last minute birthday presents for kids at terrific prices! They also have drug & beauty sections! The only drawback is that the prices are slightly higher than Walmart on SOME things. One must watch out for the prices! And the staff is not usually very outgoing to help. They are mostly about just ringing up your purchases & taking payments. If you are looking for something in particular & you are able to find a store employee they may be able to tell you where the item is located. Mostly you are on your own until you're ready to checkout. Also, check the prices of the items your buying at the shelf & watch at the register!!! Several times (more times than not) at least one item has rang up higher than the price listed on the shelf! They have to give you the shelf price! Insist upon it! And don't worry about the line, it's your money on the line, not the people behind you! 😉
