Salsa tasted like pizza sauce with a little extra garlic and cumin, chips were like biting into ceramic plates, but the beer was cold...from the bottle. They didn't have anything on draft and the lady talked to us like we were stupid when we asked.

This place has gone downhill a lot. The only thing good is the tortillas. Food was stale, hamburger did not look like it was grilled...and the taco shells were burned. Sad. This use to be a great place.

The food was good. They forgot part of our order but made it correct. The staff was friendly. It’s a great place for all of the family. I had my kids and they enjoyed it. When I was a little girl my family would get tortillas from here as we would pass by.

Not horrible, but nothing special. Food, except refried beans was luke warm at best. Teens spend to much time chatting, eating and drinking. That should be done in private not in the front of the house. Health department looks unfavorably on that Water, and iced tea tasted awful. I'm sure water is not filtered. Even soda was off. This comes from lack of cleaning the machines and clearing the lines on a regular basis. Regulars seem to get all the attention, while new customers are neglected. Travel on to Globe for much better Mexican and better service.

Don't bother going to this place. I have had better food at Taco Bell. Tostada shells were so hard I couldn't chew them, cheese enchiladas tasted like they were old. Everything served on paper plates and plastic tableware

Won’t be eating here anymore. Maybe it was Covid, idk, but the food and service used to be great here and now the service is hit or miss and the food has really gone downhill. Ordered menudo, it smelled like a toilet. We had to pay for it tho 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ And everything is served on styrofoam, with plastic utensils. The owners are aware that fills the landfills with unnecessary trash?

This place is mediocre. They have a couple good points but the bad seem to almost overweigh the good. Took about 45 mins for 2 dinners, the waitress does not tend to you unless she’s bringing your food. The ingredients they use aren’t the best and they use only styrofoam disposable silverware and cups. However, they do have good guacamole and I their chips are old school and tasty. Overall, 3 stars and would only come here again if I had no other choice.

Seen this quaint restaurant on the television show "Arizona Highways". With no second thought, jumped in the car and headed to Superior AZ. It was a historic building, they were busy, which is always a good sign. Had the #2 it was authentic, spicy, delicious! They also sell tortillas and conchas. Next door is the lounge if your looking for a drink. Ladies are friendly. Will Definitely go back.

It is nothing fancy, but if you need some grub on the road this will do just fine. Menu has breakfast, Mexican, and American sections, and provides decent servings to chase hunger away. Service is with a smile. One room is the restaurant, and next door is the lounge for those looking for a more liquid kind of refreshment. One of the few choices for either in Superior, AZ, and right on the main highway.
