One of the best places to eat authentic mexican food in the phx/tri-city area & its at the Mercado in Old town Guadalupe so you could do some shopping at the tienditas (little stores) while you're there!

I came in here by accident. I was looking for San Diego bay restaurant. I ordered the food and drinks when I realized we were in the wrong spot. So I actually cancelled my order. The place had a bad odor to it. The lady in the front didn't know any english and was rude. While I was waiting for my food before I cancelled it, I had their horchata which had a taste like it had been sitting there for days; not fresh. There was food on the floor and staff working closely together and not wearing face masks. Scary!

Food very good, I just don't like you to order at counter, then order drinks, then get up get your food, if I dine in its because I want to be served.i felt like I was the waitress!

The carne asada has a great flavor. The red chili beef tamales are delicious. Recommended.

Loved their food! Had a carne asada burrito, didn't seem like much but the taste was amazing! Very friendly staff and clean place. My husband had a chorizo with egg burrito and said it was the bomb! Will definitely visit again, gotta try their tacos and tortas. The place was a bit hard to find since it's in a little mercado (shopping center) type of place, but if you go in from the library side it's on the left hand side, you can't miss it it has lots of decor outside the restaurant.

I love coming here for the menudo. The caldo has such a good flavor, it always takes me back to my childhood. I love the fact that they always have a good amount of the trips in the soup. The value of the choices is great and the amount of food you receive should be more than sufficient. The staff is very accommodating in changes to the order. It is very old school Mexico vibe. Nothing crazy, but keeps to the basics.

Worst menudo I've ever had. Smelled horrible like the tripe was never cleaned. Took one bite and it literally tasted liked it smelled. Left the bowl full. Very hard for me to do as I love menudo, just not here.🤢🤮

Delicious! I'm so glad I preferred the Yelp reviews by people with LatinX names! The couple who ran it when I was there were really friendly, and you can get a glimpse of kids playing fútbol across the plaza. Makes you feel like you are in Mexico without having to jump the "needs to be painted" wall.
