My little poodle was shorn of her long ears after years of keeping them that way, and I wasn't even told about it. My preferences were in their notes, and I remind them every time I'm there. After I asked about her being cut so short, I was told her ears were too tangled and they had to be shaved. I don't believe this. They just needed to be brushed out and trimmed like usual. Then I noticed that evening a raw, bloody place on her neck that she yelped at when I touched it. I wasn't even told about any of this. I gave this place another chance three years ago after my other dog's paw was bloody after stepping on scissors that were left out. That time, the place was very apologetic and the vet bills were paid for. This time, I was only told that they would "make a note of it." I won't go there again and will not recommend the place to anyone for fear of their pets being hurt. This place has gone downhill in my experience since the previous owners retired.

I was able to make a same day appointment for my dog to be groomed and the staff did an amazing job with my little old man dog. He hates having his nails clipped but they somehow made him at ease. They were so kind and seemed to really care. I will definitely be going back!

I’ve been bringing my PapasTzu Cooper here for quite some time to be fully groomed and I’m always super happy. So I started bringing my little Bochi Daisy in for nail trims and it has been the best thing ever! Way less stressful having the super friendly staff at Barkberry take care of my babies than me worrying if I’m caring for them properly. I love that baths come with the groom for Coop and I can walk in whenever it fits my schedule best for a quick and affordable nail trim or self dog bath. Also, I bought a cute yogurt covered doggie biscuit that the two of them devoured shortly after. Thank you guys for being so awesome!

Do not have your pets groomed here if you want them to look good. If you want to have amateur charge you a great deal of money to groom your pet blindfolded, well that is your choice. I am a groomer who just had surgery and is unable to stand or dangle my foot. I wrote out directions to the point of what blade, comb, and length of each of my dogs. What returned home to me was a crying shame. My husband could have done a better job if he was drunk and standing on his head. We just moved to the area so I am not sure of the standard appearance people here expect, but it seem to me that the locals truly love their fur babies. Every morning now I have to encourage my dogs to go out, reassuring nobody can see them, and that their hair will grow back so Mommy can fix it. Needless to say, our business is gone and our word of mouth will not bring in more customers. Good ridden.

The staff was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for our dogs while they groomed them. My dogs were understandably nervous, and the staff did a great job making sure that they were comforted and as comfortable as possible throughout the process. My large dogs have very different coats and grooming needs, and both came out wonderful! We're so grateful for their help with the deep cleansing and grooming and will definitely be going back!

My family has been taking our dog here for many years now and we love it! We usually do just a nail trim and a bath, but the way they swaddle my small dog while they trim her nails is the best I've seen. She's always so comfortable when they do that, and I don't trust any other places to cut her nails because I know they won't put the effort in to swaddle her and make her comfortable during the nail trim like Barkberry does. Their bath stations are also nice to use, they're very big and they are easily accessible by dogs of all sizes. I do find the blow-dryers there to be a little on the cold side, but I personally don't mind it. A also have to make a note here that I haven't really used their other services, but their nail trims and baths are excellent!

We have been taking our dogs to Bark n Paws, for grooming, since they opened the doors. We have purchased products, had 3 dogs groomed, nails cut and used their facilities to bath a dog. I can't say enough about how great this place and all their staff are. We have a dog with medical problems that requires special handling. Many places won't groom our dog, but Bark n Paws makes special arrangements for our dog that is very much appreciated. I recommend them to everyone. It takes a little bit to get an appointment for grooming, but it is well worth it. I love this place.

I won't be taking any of my pups back to Bark 'n Paws. I took my older dog there yesterday to be groomed (hair cut and a bath) he has been there before and they did a good job. Not yesterday though! Once we got to the car we realized his hair was super choppy looking all over, we understood the hot spot areas. BUT, his legs are choppy, his head is super choppy and looks like they must have someone new cut his hair. Once I got home I called back up to the groomers and asked if they had a new groomer shave him, she said no. So, I explained how his hair cut was awful and super choppy, she first said I could bring him back up there and they would try to fix him. I said no, he had already been there for 4 hours and he is older and cannot handle standing for long periods of time. I then asked why his hair cut ended up the way it did, she put me on a brief hold and checked with the groomer-she got back on the phone and said because of the hot spots on him. I then told her I understood the hot spots, but his legs and his head and his feet all looked like this as well. I was then put on another hold, she got back on and said the groomer said his feet are that way because anytime she picked his feet up he fell over. Duh, he's an old dog!! I was getting frustrated because that still doesn't explain his legs or head! I then explained when the previous owners had the company and I brought in my older dog the groomer always came and updated me on how my dog did and any issues they may have had. Her response "yeah" and then silence, so I said maybe you could ask that for now on they go back to doing that- her response to that "I'm just a dog bather, the manager is on another phone call" and then silence. So, I told her bye. I waited, fully expecting someone to reach back out, but nothing. I spent alot of money trying to get my dog's hair cut, if they had issues getting it 1 length instead of the 20 they did they should've been upfront about it!! It shouldn't be my job after I get home to call and ask about it, to someone who has zero desire to help me figure out why! I will not be bringing any of my dogs back to this establishment ever again!
