Visited this place every day during our recent stay at Catalina Island. Scoops has the BEST home made ice cream on this island. I saw signs about their French Brioche and had to try that. If you do trust me you wont be disappointed. I ordered the French Brioche with a scoop of Triple Chocolate and frozen strawberries + Oreo crumbles + chocolate syrup and this was the best thing I ever had. It was delicious. I still crave for it and cant find it anywhere I live in WA. This place can have a long wait time so be prepared if you plan to grab one before boarding your ferry. The staff is friendly and there is a Starbucks in the same spot if you want to grab some coffee with your ice cream. All in all I loved their French brioche and would highly recommend this place for anyone who visits Catalina.

We went to this ice cream store every day (3 times) during our stay in Catalina. Each time was unique and a tasty experience. Their sampler size cup is really good - let's you try 3 different flavors without overwhelming you with actually 3 full scoops of ice cream. We tried their frozen banana treat which was a good concept but I personally found a bit odd. Solid flavors - we had Red Rose Raspberry, Rocky Road, Nutella Hazelnut, Salted Pretzel Stracciatella, Cherry Amareno and Raspberry Sorbet during the 3 visits and all very solid. My favorite would be the Cherry Amareno or Salted Pretzel Stracciatella.

Really, really good ice cream. It tastes just like I remember homemade ice cream tasting. My sone had chocolate and vanilla scoops and I had strawberry. Lots of flavor and just the perfect amount of sweetness. We managed to get in when the line wasn't too long, but it is worth the wait, especially since there is really nothing comparable in Avalon. Also, the frozen lemonade was delicious and quite refreshing.

Scoops certainly had a different consistency than other ice cream I have had. They have ice cream and gelato flavors. Samples weren’t allowed, and the menu online vastly differed from what was available in person. The consistency was thick and closer to icy than creamy, but still good. The fruit gelatos make for a refreshing flavor on a hot summer day. The oreo cookies and cream wasn’t anything special, just a normal cookies and cream flavor. Not often do I see banana pudding though.

Stop whatever youre doing and get the catalina island crepe. Its out of this world delicious and comes with one scoop of any flavor of icecream you would like. I got it with the very best homemade pistachio ice cream. Lines move fast. They also offer breakfast and starbucks here. Definitely stop by if you are on the island

First time visiting. This is a small but mighty cafe filled with deliciousness!! To the left of The cafe is Starbucks and to the right is where you can order your ice cream and gelato. I ordered 3 ice cream in a waffle cone with one serving of toppings and it all came to $21. I loved the ice cream so did my kiddos. It’s a win win 😊. I highly recommend! 5 stars all the way!!

We enjoyed breakfast here. We ordered avocado toast, a Nutella crepe & fresh orange juice. It was amazing! Everything was fresh & delicious. The service was quick & everyone was very friendly & helpful. It was the perfect breakfast to enjoy across the street on the beach.

Small sweets spot. Almost always have a line but worth the wait! Had three small scoops of gelato and shared with two people, but we should have got more! They have gelato, ice cream, açai bowl, and crape for sweets. They also serve Starbucks coffee and that line is different from sweets line. I think they didn’t do testing for gelato/ ice cream at that time due to COVID.

Cute little ice cream gelato shop in Avalon. Hard to miss when getting off the ferry. Service is quick and friendly too. I got a sampler since I wasn't too hungry, but wanted something sweet and refreshing. This hit the spot!

The coffee chip ice cream was so creamy and had the perfect flavor and was full of chocolate pieces. Also go the chocolate dipped banana coated in peanuts. Beware if you eat it on the beach you might make some new seagull friends. Wonderful ice cream spot, would visit again!
