Went today with my sister and the place was good but we were waiting in line and my sister asked someone there about getting here passport and she asked the guy and was rude to her he said "I don't know ask her" meaning the other employee who was nice he was very rude and shouldn't work there if he had that attitude.

I would like to speak to a person not be directed through the maze that is your phone system. All I wanted to know was does the Post Office accept miss delivered packages from Federal Express. It is a 20 second phone call.

Mailing something and they made me change the packaging I was using to mail because I wanted it express and they made me get back in line after to repackage. They always let all the older folk just repackage and come back up to the counter once they are done. Clearly there is age discrimination here.

I've been to tons of post offices and this post office has the nicest staff out of any that i've been to and they also have a parcel drop off box that is open after hours. I feel like any person conplaining about the wait time or customer service etc. rarely ever use a post office and don't have enough experience to make an adequate review. Anyways, good job Claremont post office, y'all Gucci dawg .

This review isn't for the people who work in the front. It's the experience I had with an older Asian male loading pallets in the back of the post office. I knew he was associated with the post office because the whole back of the post office was open and out of him and the other male, he looked to be in charge. I'm not familiar with the Claremont area. I was looking for a place to recycle some items. It was about 6pm and already dark, a lot of places look closed so it was hard for me to find the location. I thought the address I put in my GPS happened to be the post office. I entered the side of the post office, found a bunch of lockers but no worker to talk to, so I figured that wasn't the right entrance. I walked around the building and saw workers in the back lot. You can tell I looked lost. I went up to the two men and asked if this is where I can recycle my items. The Asian male yells at me saying "No, what is that?! Trash?!" I said, "No, they told me I can recycle it." He yells, "Who did? No, we don't take that! I don't know who told you that!" He points to the side of the parking lot saying, "Take it over there" . The other man doesn't say anything, until now. He calmly just says "There's a dumpster over there." I didn't take it to the dumpster, I called back the place I was looking for and eventually found it, but I felt this whole situation could have been handled WAY better. He could have had a normal conversation with me instead of yelling at me. I wasn't trespassing or causing any problems.

Thispost office is a nice building with beautiful murals inside around the top. They have a machine where you can mail packages without standing in line. The employees are mostly helpful, but are sometimes a bit matter of fact. The landscaping was just redone, but it is sparse I think due to the government budget.
