If I could give it 0 stars I would! It sucks watching a government entity plug along knowing they don’t have to do anything to guarantee their check! The people working here should be ashamed of themselves! Taking tax dollars and not having any pride in providing any type of service! Shameful!

Came here today to process 5 passport applications. Spent a small fortune. My only consolation was that the person who helped us was extremely helpful, knowledgable and organized. She also had phenomenal hair. Lol! Great customer service. It took about 30 to 40 mins to process a family of 5 and that was impressive considering all the work involved. Thank you!!

Seeing as how it's as small as it is, and how insanely busy pinon hills has been lately, I think they're doing okay. Sometimes you won't get your mail that is stated as delivered, but hey, give it a month or two and it should show up. There are certain times you should steer clear of package pickup. There have been a lot of times the line has been out the door, only to find two lines are open, but one line is being used by a new family or an elderly person missing one of the said packages. Honestly it's courtesy. If you're filling out an application for a box, do it next to the window or somewhere else, that way the 53 million goobers in line behind you can get their three packages without having blood vessels bursting and heart attacks. And as far as covid goes, they seem to be doing well there. They have taped lines at intervals and plastic protecting the workers from you. But you just have to watch out for that little fire captain that stands an inch from you. Confront him about it and you'll get that famous line, "Hello there! I'm a fire captain and your mask doesn't work!" You might not get your mail right away, you might have to deal with typical desert people breathing on you, but as long as you aren't rushing everything should be fine. Life is too short to worry about it. I do feel bad for the woman that works with the public mostly (from my visits). I don't think she gets many breaks between stupid questions.

Was very unhappy the first two times I tried to get a P.O. box dealing with light hair color lady.Then I was taken care of by the postmaster and another nice brunette lady thank you for your good customer service.I changed from 1to 4 stars.

I went there in rags and I was treated like a homeless person... I wanted to rent a box, and I was told by the supervisor that the post boxes were reserved for the "locals," since it's a small post office. The supervisor kept advising me that if I could provide a local address that I could have a free mailbox, and that only large mailboxes were available. In the end, she did not rent me a mailbox, because my second proof of address was my insurance, which was on my phone, but not printed; this may be good enough for the Highway Patrol, but not for the U.S. Post Office, at least not at this location. So much for serving my country in the Marine Corps and community in many arenas... I wonder if she would have treated me the same in my professional attire...

Amazing, friendly, courtesy and knowledgeable staff. Was greated by a wonderful female employee wearing a pink 💗mask. Brought a smile to my face. Thank you for all that you do. Went to get passport pictures and passport application taken care off, lady was through and organized, glad me made our appointment here. Highly recommend. Didn't mind our 77 mile drive.

I have a free PO box here even though it's the samllest PO box I've ever seen but still free. I've been here a few times since I took some time off to move to pinon hills. Everytime I have been there the workers behind the counter are rude and don't know answers to my questions and if they do make a guess, someone says something different the next time I visit. Also what is with their hours? Most people work 9am- 5pm so why have hours that match it without after hours to check your mailbox? And closed on Saturday. I'm never gonna be able to check my mail box or pick up packages. I'm heading the the ups store tomorrow to pay for a box because it's better service later hours and 24hr mail box pick up. I do not recommend this post office.

I NEVER had a problem when Paul was Postmaster. Since he retired, I have had problems with mail being returned. Their excuse was "District" instructed all mail older than (I forgot how long) to be returned. Well, if they put the blue card i the box to inform me of mail to pick up at the counter it wouldn't be sitting there. Perhaps the blue card went into the wrong PO box. Yesterday, my bank informed me they put a hold on my statements because of returned mail. I've been with that bank for YEARS and never changed my address, etc. so why was my mail returned this time? Bring Paul back out of retirement and get things organized again!

The people at the Pinon Hills Post office are awesome. They are kind, considerate and efficient; something not seen much nowadays. I go out of my way to do business here. As far as unfair reviews about the workers go; the use of a demeaning & base vocabulary denotes a lack of careful and honest, intelligent thought. Sign of the times I suppose.
