The poor review written 10 months before this one was obviously written by someone who probably doesn't like dogs & who clearly has never visited or boarded at Little Friends - or they'd know that the kennel is a traditional kennel where the dogs have the option to be inside (with heating) or outside. This place isn't a warehouse like most places that keep dogs in crates & only let them out to do their business. I've kept my dog here for extended stays (2-3 weeks) several times and she was happy & well nourished when I returned. Each dog has their own run & gets to spend their time on the yard playing - or in their run if they want a break from all the action. If you love dogs, like the staff here, you'll be able to immediately tell the animals here are happy and given a lot of attention by the staff because it's a smaller kennel with a maximum capacity of about 25 dogs - not a pack of 50 or more that most places have where you dog gets lost in shuffle. It's too bad that the neighbor wrote such a poor review because this is really the best place in the county & it's also the most affordable because it's operated primarily out of love for the animals & not for profit. They've got daycare packages for $125 for 5 days, and overnight is only $35.
