Probably the best bar and restaurant in Discovery Bay. Good place to watch sports, and/or have a white table cloth dinner. Good meet up spot too. I visited the sports bar to meet a friend. Lots of TV screens, so inside viewing is excellent. Bit of a challenge from the patio, but they do have big windows. Food options are okay, but I wish they had calamari. The nachos are very good and they know how to make drinks that are not on the menu. Overall good time and I could see this as a good place to watch a game. Enjoy.

The food is alright but not mouth watering for me personally. They get your order to you on time though which is a plus and the waitresses are always friendly.

I've been to more than my share of sports bars in the three different states I've lived in, besides the ones I've visited while on vacation. Without a doubt - as in 100 per cent I'm sure -- the Discovery Bay Sports Bar & Steakhouse has the very best vibe I've ever experienced. The ambiance is authentically warmly inviting, lively and even loud, animated, and yet decidedly upscale. And the owner is very attractive, classy, personable as well as unfailingly customer-friendly and loyal. It's simply the very best sports bar establishment in all of Northern California!

This place must be doing something right because it was packed on this visit and always appears busy when I drive by. We first attended a private reception in a back room where goes d'oeuvres were plentiful and tasty plus having an open wine bar. This event was well handled with never an empty plate. We subsequently decided on having dinner in the main room and were not disappointed. Food was very good but it was a little noisy with so many in the room. Wine was reasonably priced and overall a good experience. That was a while ago....forward to May 2022, a change of ownership, new and inexperienced staff (which seems to plague every restaurant in the area.) Three very recent visits and one where we left because we couldn't get any service even with a reservation. The food is still good but a menu change is long overdue. The restaurant is over committed with reservations which cannot be handled in a timely manner with current staffing. When it takes 30 plus minutes to get the first drink to the table, there is a problem. Serving the food with zero place settings or condiments also tells a story.

Wait staff inattentive, often needed to grad a busboy to get service. Took 15 min to see a waiter, 20 more to finally get in our order and was over an hour to get served. The dining room was not full, but was active on the Friday night of our visit. Overall we had a nice meal with our friends, over 3 hours at the table with desert, but the slow service put a damper on an otherwise nice evening.

Disco Bay is this awesome oasis in the midst of the Far East Bay. This is the restaurant at the head of the community. It's good. A bit slow service wise, but whatever. The steaks were good and the drinks were awesome.

4 of us went here tonight and we all loved what we got. 3 of us got the salmon, and it was done perfectly. My husband got a filet and he said it was cooked just right and the flavor was unbelievable. We shared a dessert (creme burle)was amazing. The waitress was superb. Really enjoyed our meals. Will go again.

We come here when we're in the area and have always had a great experience here. Brian was our server today. He was great!! So funny and attentive. Food was delicious as usual. I had blackened chicken pasta. Hubby had the ribeye with creamed spinach...we shared. Love this place!

We were invited to celebrate a birthday and since it's a steak house and maybe a little pricey we were expecting a very good service and good food as well... but when we arrived they were kind and because we had a reservation they took us to our table immediately; however they made us wait for our food since 5:30 to around 7:00 P.M.+(UNBELIEVABLE!) the couple who invited us were extremely patient, but me myself would've left along with my husband, but because we were invited we were just trying to enjoy them (thank God we were not in a hurry!). I wasn't feeling very comfortable because the place was kind of crowded and we were not expecting that and on top of everything together, they were not able to serve our food at the same time and they were coming with our dishes one by one and some of us had to start eating before the others at our table, -but the worst part was... that they were making mistakes getting confused about what we ordered with other tables-; they had our food sitting there for a while before they brought it to our table. By the time we got our food it was already cold and even someone in our table asked for the food to be reheated. The servers didn't even care much, they said sorry but not too worried. I don't think I would like to come back to this place. The dish I ordered was okay but not to my standards because I have gotten the same a lot better somewhere else. The bathroom was not taken care of (The boxes of gaskets were like dropped right on top of the back toilet seat) I was very disappointed about everything! Also they gave us a table right next to an entrance door and people were in and out everytime and we were freezing. I don't recommend this place.
