SUPERIOR SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND! While vacationing in Carlsbad this year, I stopped into The Fencing Post. I was greeted by Saul and other members of his staff. Some of the nicest people I have ever met! Everyone was welcoming and attentive to what I was looking for in fencing gear. I am a beginner Sabre fencer, and Saul was good at advising me what I really needed at my level and did not try to sell me things I did not need yet. I really appreciated his honestly and care. I will be a continued customer for sure!

Nicest people I've ever met. They gave me a lot of expert advice about fencing when I drove there from Irvine to pick up items I bought online. Definitely worth the drive. Selected the Linea electric foil since it was an entry-level price point. Received it promptly and noticed a 2" long flat spot on the blade about 8" up from the guard. It looked as if the corner was ground down. Called, was told "It'll probably be ok." Requested a replacement, returned it, and received another blade with THE EXACT SAME DEFECT. Called, was told "Yeah, that's the quality we're getting from the Chinese blades." Demanded a refund, received an email my account had been credited EXCEPT FOR THE SHIPPING COST! Called, requested an explanation and finally got the shipping cost refunded. I will never do business with these people ever again.
