Customer in front of me bought several items and the cashier just looked to get the line moving. The guy asked for a bag and the cashier asked for 25 cents after the transaction took place. I then offered to pay for it because I wanted to get the ball rolling. Thing is, COMMON SENSE. It’s makes me want to own a 7-eleven because you can hire anyone with a quarter of a brain to run the show.

Stopped in to buy exedrin. On the shelf the price was marked $1.99. At the register the item rang up for $2.79. Obviously, $0.80 isn’t a big deal, but I did mention the price difference to the cashier and he proceeded to tell me I was wrong and argue with me. I politely pointed him to signage. We both walked to the area and he told me it was stocked wrong on the shelf. I asked if he was going to honor the price and he became visibly irritated with me. I asked if the store was a corporate store or franchise. He told he did not know. I asked for the manager’s name and he would not provide it. I asked for his name several times and he would not provide that either, so I took a photo of him. Terrible customer service. Save yourself from the negative experience and go to the extra mile store across the street.

The experience here was not bad but the employee is supposed to refer customers to products in the store. I asked the store clerk if they carry the item I was seeking and he said no. I searched around and actually found that item in the store. I took it to the cash register but the cash register was not operating correctly. So to make a short story even shorter I just left without be able to buy anything.

Bought my usual coffee and taquitoes after Sunday tennis at the Hmb ritz. My kid wanted an empty coffee cup but the clerk wanted to charge $1.75 for it. Debated the idiocy of charging that much with him but we were in a hurry so I just paid it. The clerk wasn't the usual dude with the mustache. That will be the last time I buy anything there again. Ever.

I couldn't afford a tow, but the clerk wouldn't let me leave my bike overnight until an auto store opened so that I could buy a new battery. Very unhelpful and hard to deal with. I thought that a gas station in a small town like half-moon bay would be more understanding than this. I'm from Colorado, so maybe this is just the way things are here. I'm still holding onto hope that there are some hospitable people on the west coast.

On Saturday, July 6 2013 at 8:05 AM, I purchased an item for $6 and change. I handed the clerk a $20 bill. He gave me back $3 and some change, and then walked away. I told him I gave him a $20. He said I gave him a $10. He walked back to the cash register and took out a used $10 bill. REALLY?? I am very sure I gave him a fairly new $20. I'm very meticulous about how I keep my money in my wallet. I had no proof. I walked out. I should have called the police. I will never return to this store again.
