Was in La Mesa and decided to stop in at the Sprout's there. Not the one I usually shop. Went there for mostly produce. Good selection, quality and prices. Then the checkout experience! Cashier, Cindy, stopped ringing items to bag some items and informed me that I could bag ,too! 😯 Really?! Me thinks I'll stick to my regular Sprout's store from now on!

This sprouts is a little smaller than the one in Santee, but the staff is really nice, the meat department always has something delicious on sale. The prices aren’t too bad if you buy their own brand. The lines could be long after work hours, understandable though.

My absolute favorite Sprouts. Fruits and veggies are always delicious and the sales are consistent and fun. I’ve had great experiences with the staff, personally…The ones who have been there the longest are so chill and kind. Don’t forget to put your meat products in a plastic bag before they hit the conveyor belt, though. If you know you know 😅

Super clean they have everything the only reason I gave it a for star was the only employee That I approached, wasn’t the friendliest. Everyone else at the register seem to have a good attitude.

I had my groceries bagged together with a bar of soap. The person bagging the items seemed to only bag the items with care but when it came to us she seemed to have an issue. I had the person bagging my groceries make comments about us while she was bagging the bags. I had never had an issue with race and having race comments until today. The cashier made a joke if a was going to go home and eat my fruit with chamoy and lime because she assumed I was Mexican. Super uncomfortable experience. Not to mention every one working there was white and just kept give us dirty looks. I really hope this isn’t a recurring experience for others

This place is wonderful and I appreciate its existence a lot. Great produce, gluten free options and lots of awesome tinctures.

One of my favorite stores. Pretty well stocked. Fresh foods. Great vitamins, supplements, herbal teas & the list goes on. The staff is helpful and friendly. Thank you Sprouts in La Mesa!

Just popped in to get more supplements which ran out the past month. Haven't been in this Sprouts for a couple years. Layout was a bit different. Found an employee who knew her way around the store. So nice to find someone who knows where every item is placed! In and out in record time! Fabulous!

Sprouts location is near the La Mesa Village.. This is a nice area; Sprouts adds a lot of healthy alternatives for health minded shoppers. I like to get a sandwich at Sprouts as they make it to my specifications. I prefer the combo which includes potato salad or macaroni salad and water; all this for an exceptionally low price... I have noticed that the supplement section seems to be considerably overpriced to absurdly overpriced but I don't think that will necessarily discourage most shoppers that love, love, love Sprouts. Service is almost always better than the bigger markets and who knows maybe the food is a bit healthier. I love all the farmers market feel of Sprouts; colorful signage, well stocked displays, fast checkout service (almost always with a cashier that is ready to smile). Avocados were the highest I have seen in SoCal ($2 for their "large"... none ripe); the small ones (too small) were going for $.99 (I have bought better recently for $.39 at Aldi... I don't think Aldi stores have arrived in beautiful San Diego as of this writing.. I will have to check as Aldi Stores reflect actual market supply and demand pricing better than any store I have shopped in). I still love and shop Sprouts and I have for many years..
