I went to get a certain running shoes. Due to me being a Clydesdale with pronation and previous knee surgeries I don't have a lot of options for my needs. Unfortunately they didn't have my size in that shoe but after the employee called their Stearns store and finding it there they are delivering the pair to the Belmont Shore store for me to pick up tomorrow. Runners High is and has always been helpful with expert assistance.

Recently moved to Long Beach and came in looking for a new pair of shoes for half marathon training. Cameron was super helpful, brought out all different types, and I am a happy camper with my New Balance Fresh Foams. I need to come back in for some Knockaround glasses next. Highly recommend!

I needed to replace my running shoes and with the current circumstance's operating as a non-essential business the store isn't open for shopping. I contacted the store and Josh was fantastic! He located the same style of shoe I had in stock in their inventory and personally delivered it to my home. Absolutely amazing personable service! Happy to be supporting a local small business. My boyfriend and I were assisted by Cody and Gaby. I had to find New Balance shoe prescribed by my doctor due to plantar fasciitis. Gaby went above and beyond to assist me and help me understand the intrinsic of each New Balance shoe. And how to use my orthotic. No pressure environment to buy and thoroughly helpful. I will be back. Also, you have 45 days to return your shoe, even if worn on the street.

The selection is very minimal, and that goes for clothing, nutrition, and of course shoes. Not to mention they don't carry anything smaller than a size 9 in men. But that aside, when i went in i was helped by Cody who wasn't bothered at all to show and tell me about different types of running shoes, educate me about a recent knee injury i had (the reason i was looking for shoes in the first place) as well as hand write a list for me with recommendations for shoes, things to look up on YouTube, and show me some stretches and how to use a roller to help my knee injury. Cody was a huge help.

I went here a few times over my tenure in Long Beach, along with Stearns location, but I'll keep this review about the 2nd Street store. Of the handful of times I have gone here, I have only once found what I was looking for. Once it was trail running shoes, another time it was the actual metal spikes that you screw into your racing spike shoes, and I can't remember what the other was. The first time coming to the store I saw a pair of shorts that I had just paid $15 more for the day before, at the Stearns location and was told they should all be the same price, but the system might lag some. Overall, Runner's High isn't expensive, like the two $$ suggest, here, but rather right on-par with what good running gear costs. Parking in the back or on the street, but it's scarce, so hopefully you get lucky. The reason I give four stars instead of 5 is because of the lack of selection. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 3 is because they do a lot for community involvement, like they have their runs you can be apart of and they sponsor races and such. Check them out and be your own judge.

The fellow who helped me out today was very knowledgeable, got me fitted with a proper shoe, let me jog around the store as much as I wanted, recommended a pair of running socks, and gave me a free pint glass for shopping from them. I would definitely shop here again!
