I mean, what can you say? It's Trader Joe's. I live closer to a Ralph's and pretty close to a Whole Foods, but I still do 95% of my grocery shopping at Trader Joe's. I just like it best.

Staff is incredibly aggravated that they got stuck in life as lower level workers while white and take it out on customers.

Trader Joe's, although very tough to get through maze parking, is wonderful. Prices are cheap, food quality is high. I got two bags of groceries for $56. The young men that man the cashier registers trip over themselves being kind and helpful. Sorry I did not take his name but he was tall with beard that helps old people navigate. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This Trader Joe's is always out of so many items. And they've jacked the price up considerably since covid. For example, red onions used to be 79¢ each, now 99¢, a 20% price hike. Same goes for their other onions. It's not just onions, it is the vast majority of their items. The employees also have gotten grumpier and grumpier as covid as dragged on. They are also almost always out of disinfectant wipes for carts and hands. We have now found ourselves getting half as much stuff as we used to get at TJs grocery shopping, but paying as much as we used to for twice the amount of goods. Sadly, we are quickly writing TJs off, especially this location, the Santa Monica location fares slightly better, and won't be going as often during our weekly grocery trips. Update 4/29: Tried TJs again. Almost everything has gone up in price. Those red onions that were 79¢, then 99¢, are now $1.19 each. That's not an 8% increase (current rate of inflation). That's a 50% increase from what they originally were less than a year ago. It's not just onions. It is EVERYTHING. Almost everything we purchased today has increased by 50¢ or more per item. Most items were a 30-50% increase. This particular store hasn't gotten any cleaner, nor has the jacked up produce actually gotten better (it's still the same old soft peppers, tomatoes and almost already spoiled onions, with milk that expires in about 10 days or less).

Everything I'm looking for, except a couple things the supply chain has failed to deliver, thanks to a total failure in city, state and federal leadership. Very friendly staff. My go-to store for food.

Usually go to Santa Monica /Formosa and surprised some items they're out of is available here. Flowers definitely better at other store. Just hate the parking here! Staff great and less items out of stock.

Food. Goodies and a great liquor selection. Can't imagine how many varieties of eggs, they've got 'em!
