I don’t know why people have this place rated under 5 stars. From my experience it’s 5 hands down. Couple years back my dog had an eye issue. It was practically popping out of her head. They gave me options on what to do, Obviously I took the least expensive route “eye drops thinking something irritated her eye like a foxtail” The next day it was worse, Went back and did the exploratory surgery. Turns out she had a growth behind her eye. That day it was removed and she was home. All for under $350. At another vet that would have easily been past $1500. BEST vets around. Super chill people as well.

-Poor customer service -Poor patient management -Poor explanation of services and test results. -Rude, defensive and unprofessional front desk service. -Dangerous mismanagement. This is the second and last pet I'll bring here. We tried to reschedule our appointment for our female Frenchie but they were closed yesterday and they had no voice message or answering machine stating so. Zero information so we kept the appointment. We arrived at 1148 for her 1200 hormone test. They took her back at 1155 and when she came back out a few minutes later were told 13 minutes for results. We waited with no more acknowledgment from the staff. At some point after we should have already had results and been gone a large male pitbull came in and the desk sent him to the exam room next to us. Large male pitbull. Female frenchie in heat. Where was staff? Nowhere. The pit owner and I both had to do our best to protect our dogs during this tense pass by. I felt unsafe. My dog was scared. After they got by she begged me to hold her and STILL the oblivious front desk ignored us. I'm not sure how you work in a vet office and can be so clueless but it was extremely tense. When I was finally able to get a turn and basically insisted for her very simple lab results and to pay: SHE was rude to ME. At this point I already knew, this business doesn't care about their patients or clients. I mentioned specifically hey, this was not cool. That was unsafe. I also mentioned not being able to get ahold of them. She remained unapologetic, defensive, dismissive and walked away from me while I was still speaking. I don't know where you get employees like that but I was not in the wrong. Lag times and waits are one thing. Busy business is understandable. But being dismissive and unwilling to acknowledge my points? Very unprofessional. I won't be bringing more pets here. The worst part is I trusted these people with my last pet. A beloved member of my family and my constant companion. Because of this woman's behavior I now question and wonder if they contributed to his departure. I now question the treatment he received and their explanation of results. There are some good techs here and they should take their professionalism and empathy elsewhere.

This Vet hospital is the best. My Shepsky needed a FHO an few years back and they were completely understanding that we couldn’t afford it all. They are amazing and he has fully mobility because of them. Thank you Yosemite Veterinary Hospital for helping my big boy out.

Well for a start they don't answer their phones....it's supposed to be a emergency vet but yet I've called multiple times and don't even get a answer nor can I leave a voicemail.either way no way of getting business if u guys don't pick up the phone.and it was during business hours when I called. I waited a hour n called bk a few more times and nothing

As people put there full trust in Veterinary practices and Doctors to take care of our babies you expect them to help and really figure out what’s going on, no matter the cost, I was willing to pay it! I’m ashamed I even put trust in BOTH the Doctors we saw to take care of my dog. They misdiagnosed him and sent him home time and time again with different medications telling me it would help and he’d be getting better. I take my dog in, they do XRays and say everything looks good send different pain meds AGAIN to later that SAME NIGHT, have my dog dying in my arms at home. After rushing him to emergency, they clearly stated there’s no way my dog was treated or diagnosed correctly. To top it off, You’d think after calling your practice the next morning to inform you guys we won’t be coming back in cause my dogs gone and that you guys misdiagnosed him after nickle and dimming me out of all the money you did I’d at least get an apology? I’ve got nothing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! RIP GUNNER, My Baby Boy

Went to take our dog for hearing test and didn't get charged! Because of was just an easy procedure. The vet technician was very friendly and knowledgeable! I know taking your animals to any vet is very very expensive, but this time we caught a break! My dog had several operations down there and they turned out just fine! Two paws up! 🐕

My wife desperate to keep her 16 yr old Chihuahua alive took her to this vet and was charged her $775 for useless blood work and medicines which didn't do anything. This vet took advantage of my wife . You think as a vet they'd know if a pet was dying.1 week later we took her dog to another vet who actually said she had no quality of life and put her to sleep. Shameful that this is yet another vet who cares more about the almighty dollar than your pet! I will never bring another animal here.

I appreciate that the staff here really took the time to discuss my pets health with me, and didn’t constantly go back and forth between patients like a different vet in town that we went to. My pet was feeling better after one trip to this place, compared to multiple trips to the other vet I was going to. Would definitely return here, thanks for the good service.

If I could give no stars, I would. They quoted me $1200 to look at my dogs ear infection, along with saying they had to completely put him under anesthesia. Horrible service and your prices are so overcharged, it's embarrassing. If you want quality service without paying a thousand dollars, I recommend Modesto Family Vet.
