We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved pet of 15 years. Stacy, the vet was kind and very compassionate as she helped us through the process. She allowed us to take all of the time we needed to say goodbye and she was very gentle with our dog. We thank you Stacy!

A fantastic vet office, all the doctors are so knowledgeable plus very compassionate and since I have a tbi let me tell you they all have alot of patience. They also have payment options. They have tons of parking and handicapped parking and the establishment is so clean. I always take all our animals there.

Bluey received blood work for a procedure next week. Staff is amazing and kind. We love it here. Kiddo loves looking at the rock garden out front to see how many blues clues he can find!

Dr. London was fantastic. She was great with my anxious pitty/boxer mix, and I appreciated how well she explained things to me. She was knowledgeable, personable, and professional all in one. Would absolutely recommend her if you're looking for a vet!

Honest and kind. While it is more expensive than taking your pet to the clinic/ shelter for shots and surgeries, if you have concerns on how your pet is being treated I would recommend spending the extra time and money here. I have been to other VCA locations and the doctors here seem to have a lot of patience and understanding. It is the best VCA location I have been to.

AG Vet Hospital deserves numerous recommendations from my family, so this recommendation will come in 3 parts. We highly recommend Arroyo Grande Vet Hospital for any of your pet's needs. We can not speak highly enough of the entire staff! 1.) Our one year old puppy got into some sort of toxin. We obviously did not know that was the issue initially, and when we called about our puppy not feeling well, their response was "How soon can you be here?" The relief that is felt as a dog parent when you are able to get in that quickly is something I cannot put into words. To have the vet available when you need them is so, so important! Dr. Murphy went above and beyond, along with the vet techs, to help our Australian Shepard. The amount of phone calls Dr. Murphy had to make to keep us updated was unbelievable. But Dr. Murphy always kept us informed and updated. His dedication at trying to find the specific toxin, as well as helping our puppy was remarkable. Sadly, our sweet Australian Shepard, Nasa, did not make it. The kindness and love that was shared by the entire staff at AG Vet Hospital was extraordinary. We appreciated their support at such a difficult time. Dr. Murphy and his staff will always be remembered by our family for their above and beyond support. 2.) A year ago, our family dog was unable to walk. His hips were bad, and they finally gave out to the point we knew most likely we needed to euthanize him. It was a Sunday, and we were SO GRATEFUL that AG Vet Hospital was open. They were so kind and patient with us saying good by to our sweet boy. They helped ease the sadness of our 10 year old daughter by giving her a popcycle to give to our dog as a last treat. The kindness that the staff showed us that morning we will never forget. 3.) A couple years ago, we added 2 pet kune kune pigs to our family. We were so grateful that AG Pet Hospital was able to neuter our boys. Not many vets in the area were willing to do that. Again, there is no doubt in our family that the best vet hospital is Arroyo Grande Vet Hospital. Please know that you are so, so appreciated.

This is the place 2 go. They r so caring. I lost 2 of my babies this year. Henry and Gump. They were my world. I didnt think I was going 2 handle losing them. They gave me comfort. When it was time 2 pick up they're ashes, I just sat there and cried. They just closed. They let me sit there as long as I needed. Thank u VCA.

This is the finest urban vet clinic I’ve known in my 59 years on the planet. This county that has many high quality vet clinics. This one has a decidedly happy demeanor. Happy staff, happy well served pets, and customers. I never have a long wait and every vet and every attendant is caring, respectful toward my pet (very important) and me as a person with a pet. Appointments do not feel rushed nor do I feel forgotten in the waiting room. I get answers to my questions and explanations that are open to discussion and more clarification if I need it. We have seen several different doctors but all have been smart, warm and tactful. Terrific leadership here. Staff is always helpful to me and each other. Parking is generous --making coming and going comfortable. Clean and comfortable inside and out. I’m fortunate to live close to this A+ veterinary hospital and clinic.
