Dr. Rao is excellent with my Siamese cat who is 18 yrs old. She is gentle but thorough in her exams/ The staff is also special, helping to make a visit to the vet less frightening for my furbaby.

My cat has an infected paw and she was able to take him in. Vito is not an easy cat but Dr. Rau does her magic and he is perfect for her. I've only had one other vet in 40 years like her and that vet moved across country. Dr. Rau has been amazing. I also want to pay a compliment to both Amandas who work there . The receptionis and Vet Tech are professional and kind and go to great lengths to help you with your kitty.

Best place to tak cats! It's very cute inside and out. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are pretty good and our cats don't have to deal with scary dogs.

I had taken my cats to this clinic since 1998. Unfortunately, after Dr. Brisbin retired and Dr. Rao took over, the clinic has gone downhill. They have suggested expensive tests that were found to be unnecessary when I obtained a second opinion. A friend of mine who also used to take her cats to this clinic was told by Dr. Rao that there was nothing she could do for her cat and suggested the cat be euthanized. She took her cat to another vet who ended up saving her cat’s life. I called today to get my cat in as she is very ill and has been going to that clinic since I got her 14 years ago. The woman who answered the phone was very unsympathetic and rude and refused to try to even try to get an expedited appointment for me. She was also extremely flippant. Most unprofessional. This clinic has lost me and two other friends as clients.

We have been taking our cats to Benicia Cat Clinic for years for all of their medical needs. We, and they, appreciate that it is a cat-only clinic so that they don’t get as stressed having to smell those nasty dogs (their opinion, not mine). We always get professional and honest treatment and we highly recommend them. Also, if you need to drive across a toll bridge to get there they will reimburse the bridge fare if you tell them.

The Benicia Cat Clinic is excellent. I have taken two of my cats there. I have also boarded one of my cats there. I was the most impressed when I had to put my first cat down. Two of the vets went above and beyond by both of them writing me lovely letters afterwards.
