In efficient work flow and needs help from 6 sigma. It's 2022 and they are still using stickers and paper sign in sheets.

I use to work in the the gcs dept. 1st shift and let me tell you the worl load was really easy but turned Into difficult work becuase you get lazy co workers and even lazyer supervisors tried to report them but nothing was done and reporting the supervisor just put a target on my back...he constantly makes comments to me in Spanish (which I dont speak) and "forgets"that I dont speak it DMSI has done nothing to help...work here if you dont mind being talked down to.

Not ran by good management at all. They will overwork u every Saturday with half days, then not have enough work sometimes to get full shift hours during the work week. 🙃

I had to give it a star to give the comments, the guys at night are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL, THE GUARD AT THE GATE is a whole different story, polite knows what his doing, guides you to your trailer, tells you how to get there. One of the reasons why some truck drivers are quitting is because of the horrible treatment we get from shipper, receiver's, and dispatcher's, little do they know that AMERICA RUNS BECAUSE OF US TRUCK DRIVERS not Dunkin donuts, we keep it moving.

19 year old sorter doing part time. Everyone is friendly, answers all your questions. A good job if you hate customer service

Not the best place to work at...not the worse place either. Authoritarian, hierarchical, regimented and one step away from forced labor... still beats working for Amazon.

Went for an interview for a guard position. Recruiter told me to take a day off for it, and made it sound like a sure thing. Interview went great. Waited two hours in all for the interview. There was no line in front of me, just poor leadership. Never heard from them again. Tried following up three times. Still no replies. Tried complaining to corporate about asking people to miss work for unreliable interviews. Still no replies. Got another job closer by almost immediately. My advice to anyone looking to work here; don't. They won't call back, and they won't even treat you with basic courtesy and respect during the interviews.

Worked here for 2 years on 3rd shift. The PTL department is fantastic. Supervisors and Manager there are incredible. Shipping is absolutely terrible. Supervisor threw everyone under the bus when numbers were bad. She didn't know what she was doing a played favorites. Don't bother reporting her because you'll just get written up for it. DMSI is corrupt. I got written up for doing my job and when someone backed me up they told me "well she said you did this" so I still got in trouble. If you get assigned to the MVDC building on 3rd shift try not to get into shipping because the supervisor Rosa is unfit to be a in charge of a department . Ask for PTL or PTS.

Another great place to drop and hook a trailer. Getting in and getting out is key to making money. I found a set of bolt cutters on the ground and turned them in to one of the yard workers and he was so grateful for me returning them. I guess most people would have just drove away with them. He even offered me a cold soda for my honesty. Great people who work there.

It's a great place to get your first job and pt on a resume but other thank that its terrible. The entree jobs are very strenuous, you first enter through an agency and get no benefits. The pay is at minimum wage and all higher positions one can apply for later are based on seniority so you always have to fight with people that have been their for 5+ years
