Had a piece of pie.it was really good. Also had hot chocolate and it to was excellent Next time we are going to have a croissant sandwich as they looked scrumptious.

Ordered a vegetarian quiche, asked to change to another item after realizing it had green bell peppers inside due to allergies; was told they would “pick them out” - no thanks. Everything in this place looks old and over loaded with way too much sugar, icing, glaze, not French at all.

A non-local’s review: They have a great variety of pastries and baked goods and I would say that’s their specialty. The breakfast croissants are over-done and extra flaky. The breakfast sandwich baguette is hard as a rock. And everything comes out piping hot - you can’t eat or drink it for at least 5min+. Other than that the staff was friendly and accommodating.

This place is AMAZING. we live and work in Big Sur and come to morro bay almost weekly to shop and make it a priority to stop here. The breakfast croissants are so perfectly made- egg and sausage, bacon, or turkey bacon on the most perfectly lightly toasted flaky croissant. We’re trying to get through all the pastries one week at a time but I can’t stay away from the raspberry cheese danish (probably not called that sorry!) which is MWAH. Writing about this place is making my mouth water. Thanks for being the best bakery ever!

This is one of the best patisseries I’ve been to. I tried the chocolate croissant, which was so flaky and flavorful. The danish type pastry with strawberry and cream was out of this world, as was the croissant with apricot. I wish I could have tried everything, because everything I had was phenomenal. So glad we caught this on our road trip up the coast

Great spot for a delicious and low priced breakfast. I had the breakfast croissant with egg bacon and cheese, it was absolutely scrumptious and under $5!! Easily the best deal in town. The menu board had a lot of appetizing breakfast and lunch options, hopefully i can try each one. I'm happy to become a regular here! The two ladies working were very helpful and friendly. It was my first time in and i asked a bunch of questions and they were very patient and understanding. Excellent service, outstanding fresh food, really competitive prices... What more could you ask for?! I'd recommend this place for a nice breakfast on your own or with the whole family. The dining area was very clean or you can take anything packed up to go!

This is an adorable patisserie. They have bread creatures on their walls and their sandwiches are delicious. I recommend having them as they are posted and don't add things. My partner added bacon to the ham and cheese croissant and said he wished he haven't because the flavor profile they had was great before he messed with it. Their pastries are out of this world. I ate a cinnamon twist that tasted like sugar clouds collided with a cinnamon storm and crystallized. The strawberries and cream croissant was like a cascade of decedent cream with fruity explosions in every bite. 11/10 would recommend.

Update: we have now visited MB like 10x & we still love coming to this bakery for breakfast & pastries! We just went this month (5/21-5/23) & took home with us about 20 pastries to share with our families! Everyone LOVED them! Recommended: croissant breakfast sandwiches, sticky bread, & cinnamon brioche (rolls)! I've come to Morro Bay a few times now to visit from the Bay Area & found this place a couple of times ago.. it's now our usual breakfast spot when we're in town! We always get the breakfast croissants which are delicious! We also really like the quiche! And to wrap it up, we can't leave without having one of their brioche or sticky breads! You won't regret coming to this place. Staff is nice, service is quick, & prices are pretty good for the quality you are getting. Breakfast for 2 (sandwiches, drinks, 1 quiche & 1 bread to share) is about $25! Currently they are only doing takeout..

Delicious pastries and cookies! We tried so many! The strawberry and blueberry and cheese pastries are the best! Chocolate chip cookies, torte, and more. A really fine place. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Worth it! So good! Very much our absolute favorite.
