No hard alcohol served. Beer and wine only. They had lots of hot sause options. Vegetarian options on most choices.

Food is decent. Cash only. Maybe just me/my imagination but the kitchen always looks unorganized /messy/ less than clean to me (you can see it from the cash register). I live just around the corner and I've eaten there maybe 10 times and never had any stomach issues so Im probably wrong about that. Their Chipotle salsa is really tasty. Overall a B-

Customer service left a bad impression for me here. It was on a 3/11 Friday morning, My Friend and I walked in at 9:45 am. Guy at the counter didn't welcome us instead yelled that they weren't open till 10am. We were willing to stay and eat the fish tacos. But after my friend asked a question about the fish tacos we left. The guy behind the counter had a bad attitude answering questions of the menu. Even though we didn't meet the rest of the staff this guy set the tone for them all. For the staff workers / owner I'm sorry I know I should judge you all by one man mistake. For the gentleman that was rude please learn to be courteous to your customers from the start. Even if you aren't open at the time. Too bad we went there to taste your famous fish tacos.

Pretty tasty food. Had a super burrito that was huge, quesadilla that was pretty tasty and some rice. Only complaint is having to use an ATM because they only take cash for some odd reason. Also the entire place smells more like a dishwasher machine than food. I would suggest closing the kitchen door. I usually do an immediate U-turn when I walk into a place it smells like cleaning products. But we were too hungry And it worked out OK.

I happened upon the taqueria after a hike at Edgewood. I was pleasantly surprised by the colorful authentic art Dia de los Muertos all year round. I am told this is the original I have been to Sancho's in Palo Alto, but I prefer the ambience and hospitality here. In addition the salsa selections are delicious and my carnitas burritos with black beans was flavorful. Cash only.

Great selection of tacos and other usual Mexican food. Warning, the restaurant is cash only, but prices are reasonable.

Fantastic food messed up by the service. Things happen, especially during busy times which we happened to be part of but here my impression was that not listening well is made to be my fault. Price was fine but one plate was missing. When trying to tell that something was not correct with our order it was hard getting attention. Beside of that the food was fantastic, however with the overall experience we couldn't enjoy it as much. We recommend to give out receipts to customers - that could help avoiding mistakes. Food gets 5 stars, but the fact they don't take credit cards gets a minus 1 star. Even becomes annoying to hear over and over each time someone walks up. Al pastor, carne asada and their fish tacos are all great. Many salsas to choose from as well, but chips will cost you $2.

I walked in asked what's in the taco salad. The two ladies said chicken I said that's nice. They said it would be $11 something which is not what is said on the menu so I asked what's up with the price? They said extra for meat. At this point there are other people behind me in line so I just ask for a regular chicken burrito, big mistake. What came to me was a reasonably sized burrito wrapped in a uncooked flour tortillas filled with what looked like Spanish rice, chicken, and refried pinto beans not very tasty but a generous helping of ok chicken.
