Nice matcha ice cream. Good flavor but I wouldn’t say this is a must-have by any means. Not missing much by skipping it. There was a line at dinner time moving quickly. Waffle cones are very nice.

The best matcha ice cream I ever had. If you appreciate the bitter taste and distinct tea flavour, this is the place. It was so good!!

Immaculate. Matcha flavor was rich. Red beans perfectly cooked and complemented the dessert so well. Shaved ice was delicious. Rice balls (i think?) were also 10/10. Will return.

Very good matcha soft serve given in a delicious waffle cone. Their special flavors are almost always good. A great place for a quick dessert in Japantown.

Great flavors and delicious! Definitely a must if you are visiting Japanese town in SF. We really liked their ice creams and their cones are delicious as well. The space is small and I suggest taking a walk to see other stores while having your ice cream! We got the Matcha Vanilla ice cream with the gold on it! The gold doesn’t have a taste but it was fun to try!

lovely quality matcha here. soft serves are quite creamy as well. i love their options--they have desserts and drinks! can get busy/line out the door during peak times, but it usually moves quickly.

Get there fast if you don’t want to wait. Matcha Cafe Maiko is high on my list for quality matcha drinks that are fun and delicious. On my recent trip I had the Hojica Cream Latte with Oat Milk. It a great drink that balanced its earthy and sweet flavors. Next time I’m there I plan to have another Hojica drink. On a final note, get there asap because the line does get long, but service is quick.

Delicious parfait!!! Matcha from Uji region of Kyoto is full flavored and aromatic! Mixed with the textural elements of fresh mochi balls, agar jelly base, azuki bean, and crunchy corn flakes! Friends highly recommended the soy milk soft serve as well!

Loved this little place within the building. I had the 24K Golden SHO-GUN for $9.50 It was half half vanilla and matcha, complete with gold wrap! Absolutely delicious! The things they make here are neat to look at and enjoy.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was still a long line at 4 pm! Good: I got the maiko special and this thing is HUGE - I couldn't finish but I loved how much food it had in it - from jelly to a matcha cake to soft serve swirl to sweet sauce, it was an explosion of flavor and I almost wish I was more hungry to finish it all. I also tried the boba sundae and the boba tasted so so good! Once your order is placed, your food comes out pretty shortly after. Bad: Long lines so longer wait times. Overall would come again! I'm a fan of dessert places and this place did not disappoint.
