I had 2 tests: a CT Scan of my brain followed by an MRI w/contrast, also, of my brain. Staff, including receptionist, were pleasant and professional. Gave clear directions. I am so thankful that I have Medicare because Stanford charges are very high. But you are getting top notch professionals. I enjoyed coffee and a scone between the tests at the Zum Cafe.

FIRST JUST TRANSFERED From dysfunctional incompetent KAISER foundation facilities. You will lose your life and lives has been lost behind their dysfunction. There was unable to help me but yet they did not want to refer me out to a better facility like Stanford. They waited till my insurance actually ran out and drop me when I need it treatments and pharmaceuticals. I’m here at Stanford hoping to only deal with PROFESSIONALS which MAJORITY of the DOCTORS ARE TRAINED HERE !!!!!!!

I had to have surgery right away. I was in the middle of a move from Wi to Fresno so everything had to get transferred over. I will admit there was some issues getting everything & everyone on board with confirmations/billing ect. But once the insurance & billing was settled I arrived in Ca & three days later was admitted & shortly after arranged the date for surgery. The Dr. & nurses were extremely confident & showed compassion. They walked me through everything step by step & what to expect every step of the way. They allowed a family member to accompany me right up till the surgery. I couldn’t be more please with this place. There is somewhat of a wait but it’s not too bad considering it’s a huge place & have lots of patient’s. So be patient be kind & be thankful we get to live another day. The experience starts with you❤️

One of the staff there, was very rude to me in waiting area. I don't remember her name, she had shoulder length brown hair. She Insisted i sat down and told me to wait and there was nothing she could do about the time I had to wait. I noticed she was also busy with other staff, flirting and acting silly. Needless to say, I will be changing my healthcare plan.

My experiences have been nothing but positive. I have been going to Stanford for over a year and am being treated for 3 types of cancer thyroid and breast. Dr. Colevas is the head of my oncology team and is always on top of my care, his team is thorough and organized. He and his team are patient, compassionate, kind and efficient. I have a tedious and treatable, not curable thyroid cancer and I am considered terminal. The only good thing in all this is that I will have Dr. Colevas guiding me through and the other departments, breast, department, palliative care and psychiatry doing the same ...holding my hand through this miserable cancer disease. Every department at Stanford has been courteous and on time for procedures. I watched a wonderful documentary on how Stanford became 'Stanford' as it's known today. I do hope the Stanford family can see what they have created with their generosity and passion in their son's name.
