The staff at this Starbucks failed to make my order and when I approached them they were too busy to even sort it out. They kept me waiting without addressing the issue. When I approached them about it again after waiting and waiting, they just lied about it and said they were busy doing other orders and someone else must have taken my order which was untrue as I was waiting next to where orders were being dispensed. The lady in charge was so rude and non apologetic. Very abrupt and shouldn’t really be working in hospitality as she didn’t care about me or my order. I ended up getting a refund after they found my order in the register after 40mins. I have never experienced such bad customer service. Really appalling attitude by staff and management! I definitely wouldn’t return to this cafe. Students and staff at Stanford University deserve better really! ~Jimbo

I had 2 tests: a CT Scan of my brain followed by an MRI w/contrast, also, of my brain. Staff, including receptionist, were pleasant and professional. Gave clear directions. I am so thankful that I have Medicare because Stanford charges are very high. But you are getting top notch professionals. I enjoyed coffee and a scone between the tests at the Zum Cafe. ~Lynn

As you would expect from a Subway. Unfortunately, they are usually out of at least one item, but the staff is very friendly and works to find an alternative for you. It is also really unfortunate how early this location closes. I have heard many many students, including myself, complain that it is 8pm, we want a quick bite to eat, and the location is closed or closing. Not sure why a location on a college campus would close before students eat dinner / come back from study sessions. ~J

This is below my office, so the location is a perk. They have a variety of gluten free options, which is huge for me. It was busy, either as a function of location or good food. I wasn’t a huge fan of my vegan arepa, but then again I may have gotten unlucky, or they’re more difficult to make vegan, who knows. My Vietnamese coffee was very good, and I trust they do other great types of lattes. I want to like this place, so I’ll try it again. They have a funky ordering system during covid where you can’t use the register, and must order on an app/online. Pro for safety, con for your first time ordering. ~M

Salads are tasty and pretty large but staff was a bit rude, especially if you ask for a substitution on one of the suggested salads. ~Hanna

Very good had a bowl of 🍜 pho. Was tasty. I wasn't planning to buy any food today, packed a lunch. There are two all gender bathrooms. There is an added to your pho bar $0.62 an ounce. Soup came fast, Wasn't crowded yet. I got there a little after 11. Getting crowded now. All in all a good experience a little over eight bucks out the door. ~Duncan
