David M Brian is part of the McCaulou's Department Store Family. It is a wonderful gift store that has wide varieties and lots of fun stuff. The selection is not as broad as it used to be before the store moved into the smaller space. The staff can be a bit slow to help and respond, but good help is hard to find these days. Lots of fun gift ideas and even good stuff for your own home. Have fun shopping.

I went in today for Christmas shopping and got followed around the store because I had a notebook I was wanting to purchased. I got approached and got asked what I was doing when there were many people around doing the same thing. Never putting my money to this place. I was the only colored person in there and got asked this.... Very disappointed!

I like this place. There are some very nice items. Some are a bit pricey but others very reasonable. This is not a place you want to take small children. There are many things to look at but not touch. They do have gift items for babies and children but not displayed is such a way for kids to be wandering around unsupervised. They have a large selection of actual stationary items, which is hard to find these days. The best section in the store is downstairs where they have many kitchen items. You're bound to find something you haven't seen before or for that hard to buy for foodie friend.

My grandmother's favorite store to window shop in Walnut Creek. A wonderful selection of nearly a little bit of everything. My daughter enjoyed the sticker selection.

David M Brian is rather unique stote and offers great products for the right demographic. The quality of the product is superb. I have not had any compaints both as a consumer myself and when gifting family and friends. The staff is very friendly, and create a relaxed atmosphere with no rushing you or showing any eagerness to make a sale. They seem to do things with deliberation and not to go through a script which makes the experience that much more positive.

They carry quite a variety of gifts. Some of their items are very unique, perhaps even one of a kind. Fun place to shop. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable.

I made a return here today after I made a return at the Brighton Jewelry store a few doors down. The man, the owner, shorted me .09 cents on a return I made. I had my receipt. I paid with cash when I purchased the gift. Nothing was wrong with it and it was still in the giftwrap they wrapped it in after I bought it. He said the taxes have gone up after I bought it so I wasn't getting back what I paid for it. I think I should call the IRS and let them know. Brighton Jewelry gave me back what I paid for their item before the taxes went up. I find this so tacky that I had to post this to let people know. So sad too because this was my favorite store and I have spent a lot of money here over the years. It was only .09 cents so no need to argue for my pennies. It's easier just to go public with it today. Thank you for listening.

Too bad their china and crystal assortments aren't as big and grand as it was in their original store site where Neiman Marcus now stands. But other than that, it's a truly charming and superb place to shop for wonderfully exquisite gifts. Same ownership as the McCaulou's department stores.
