They were not able to get us in even as a previously established patient in good standings with a dying cat for over 2 weeks. They also require $50 down no matter what. I thought I would call them even after they almost killed my dog prior with a misdiagnosis but nothing has changed. All about the money and not animal care.

Called when my dog had an emergency. Staff did not show that they cared, told me that I could go to Montrose or Junction. We live in Delta and heard that they cared. Receptionist said they were all booked and there was nothing they could do. Poor care

We brought our dog here because when we brought our sick cat here a year ago and got friendly professional treatment. However this time the staff is cold and not very happy to be working with animals. Not a real good experience for our pups first visit. The receptionist said they would take him " in the back to draw blood". Being that our dog is a guard/service dog in training, we requested that one of us as his handler, accompany him to ensure everyone's safety. They refused, and the vet did the blood draw in the exam room with us there to assist. Vet was reluctant to work on a positive introduction to our 1 yr old German shepherd. But after insisting, he did step back and allowed us to calm our 80# shepherd down and introduce him to the vet. That being said our pup calmed down in seconds and when we allowed him to approach the vet he did so calmly and without any aggression. After the very very brief exam, the vet left the room and said he would run a test and it would be about 15 minutes. The next time we saw him was as he was driving out of the parking lot before we were actually discharged. I guess with the unfriendly welcome from the receptionist, to the refusal to allow either one of us to accompany our pup to "the back". It is safe to say we aren' not totally confident in this clinic and it's staff.

My dog has numerous health issues and Dr. Jeff and Dr. Susie have kept her alive with lots of care and special food, etc. She is now bouncing around like a puppy again at age 14 1/2 years. Their staff is always great, helpful and smiling. I highly recommend them.

My dog Cody Bear, recently started having health issues. He is a 10 year old Alaskan Malamute. The staff, Dr. Jeff and DR. Suzy have listened to all my concerns, and helped me through this difficult time. Dr. Suzy even came to my house when he went down and I couldn't get him up, after hours. They always manage to make time for appointments even on short notice. Thank you Surface Creek Veterinary Center for being there for Cody and I, you have went above and beyond the normal in vet care.
