Whatever this location may have been, good care of our pet, able to find space for an urgent situation, is gone. In addition although you might think all locations may work together to fit you in when one might be overbooked, as you will pay $40/month for this privilege, they don’t, won’t collaborate if you need to take your pet to another location, and won’t fill medicine prescribed by another location. Save $40 a month in a bank, yourself the hassle and the money for another vet. Should they make a mistake while your pet Is in their care they won’t make it right and you will pay an urgent care bill… single-handedly undoing cost advantage. They ask you to drop your dog off but the vet won’t ever meet with you and so when things aren’t in the chart right you have to argue with front desk staff who say they can’t do anything about it. Finally opposed to being able to communicate with someone rationally and solve problems reasonably, you will end up on Google giving a review, after the third non-addressed issue. Save yourself the hassle! And just in case you still have doubt, call and say your dog has an ear infection and needs to get in and ask what their next available appointment for an ear ache is. When that date isn’t Acceptable for this imagined ear infection call to all the other locations in your proximity only to be told the same and then price and urgent care bill.

The Wellness plan actually fully covers all the preventitive care I need for my lil teenager. I'm always very skeptical of insurance plans and surprice charges but I have had two visits now that cost me nothing out-of-pocket. They send a good amount of reminders of when it's time to schedule check-ups and dental cleanings, but not too many that it becomes annoying.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. I am so disgusted by how this place treats animals. I set an appointment for my puppy for a problem that was urgent, only to have to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes and be told to leave because my dog was being…. Wait for it, a DOG. my puppy will bark at other dogs when they bark at him and since he’s a large breed and has a louder bark we were told to leave because he’s being aggressive??? The other dogs that were barking however were fine? On top of this, the person who came out to ask us to leave looked at my puppy and said they don’t like to wait for treatment with cases like these, immediately after saying we’d have to reschedule for Monday and when I came back to resolve the problem it turned into Thursday. disgusted by how horrible people can be to an animal in need just because they are afraid of his breed. I was told I could bring him back sedated? Because he barks? Horrible. And when the next place we went to called to get my pups records, they tried to dissuade them from treating him saying he was lunging and being rude. Maybe people who are passionate about helping animals should be working vet jobs and not people who are lazy and don’t want to deal with the excitement of a one year old puppy . All in all if I could give this place a 0 star review I would. No thanks to this place my pup is getting better. A much better bet to go to is bear valley animal hospital! Low cost and fast check in there, and they understand that a dog will be a dog 🙌🏼

Worst customer service. Never have appointments. Always want to nickel and dime you. Their plans are worthless. Pay a monthly fee for nothing. Do yourself and your pet a favor and find a real veterinarian. The people working there are nice but the corporation is trash.

Extremely helpful... I've taken both my dogs here for a while now and had wonderful experience! Especially when my dog needs a procedure done and they walk you through it all, and even call throughout it all and give you updates ! Thank you Banfield! Shoutout to Dr.Opitz she was amazing!!

Let's be realistic about what this place is. It is staffed by good people and good veterinarians and does a good job of providing wellness services to animals. What it is not is a full service veterinarian that you can rely on to take care of the needs of your animal. Animals have non emergency issues that arise that need to be dealt with in a day or two or three. You can't expect those needs to be dealt with here as you can't get an appointment for a week or two or three so you can't use this practice or Banfield as your primary veterinarian. It's a shame they can't be transparent about what they are about. Use them for wellness but if you have other expectations beware. After more than 10 years I gave non renewed my plans for 2 animals and will use a veterinarian practice to meet the needs of my animals which include both wellness and sickness. I am sure Banfield could care less as 20 others will become subscribers until they they become as disenchanted with the service as I has .

The Vets are great but the customer experience has gone down hill. I got a call to check up on my cat, said she wasn't doing better, and all I got was "I'm sorry, have a good day". And then the lecture "please call 10 days before a refill " the doctor is in town and reviewing documents but it may take 3 days. Umm. No I'm out and if my dogs doctor is available they should approve. I get bringing her in to evaluate but there has to be some understanding .

Everything about this Banfield hospital location has been smooth and positive for me! From booking the initial annual exam, rescheduling, vaccinations, dental surgery and cleaning and post-op care, the front desk staff and care team has been friendly and responsive. Their mobile app + website login make it easy to reference notes about recent visits and vaccination records. I really appreciate the holistic care and vet experience. Additionally, the prices are fair and transparent. They tell you prices upfront and beforehand unlike some vet places that just surprise you with the invoice later.

An impersonal experience. They do not ask questions to get to know your dog or your concerns. We have 2 dogs, one dog is on the wellness plan and it is a great price if you are needing your puppy to get fixed and want a DNA test. However if you want much more than that, they are extremely overly busy to provide quality service. If you want to get your pet seen the same day for a concern, you can’t. They do not answer the phone, unless you try repeatedly. If you leave a message, they do not return your call in a timely manner like they advertise they will. We have another dog we got from the pound and wanted a wellness check, after sending him back with them, they brought him out to me and said “he was good”. They seemed like they wanted me out of there as soon as possible. I am very thankful we did NOT sign up for the wellness plan with our second dog! We’ll find a new vet.

I'm a professional dog trainer and behaviorist, and will never be at this vet again. For my original 60 minute appointment, I showed up from an hour away and they said their system made a mistake and they were expecting me 15 minutes earlier and now don't have time to see my dog. I had an email confirmation stating the time of my appointment. They said I could wait 1.5 hours to see a vet or reschedule. When I came the second time, they didn't check him in for an hour and told me the exam would take 2 hours. 5 hours later they weren't picking up their phones. 6 hours later I picked my dog up and they charged me hourly for the time it took to do the exam. I told them I was told 2 hours and that I had to cancel important meetings waiting on them and they brushed it off without apology saying "it takes a long time". I asked if the scheduling issue in their system has been fixed and the staff member said "Probably not, it's terrible". The same health exam typically takes 30 minutes, and I've never heard of an hourly rate for it.
