I was so pleased to see the care they took with covid guidelines at this salon, I felt safe and protected. I also got an amazing haircut from the owner, Arlene. I have difficult fine wavy/curly hair and an M-shaped hairline. She transformed how I feel about my hair with this cut, it's low maintenance and works with curl. This was my first visit but not my last. Service: Haircut

I'm new to the area and was looking for a salon. Their online booking system is so helpful and easy. I don't have big blocks of free time at the moment so I scheduled a short appointment for a root touch up and blow dry. Celene did a great job blending the color and the blow dry was gorgeous! I just had a haircut from a new junior stylist named River. She was sweet, patient and really paid attention to the specifics of my short hair cut. I have very thin, fine, curly hair which can be tricky to cut. I explained and showed how much to cut and subtle details. She patiently listened, referenced the photo I brought and executed the cut carefully and with precision. She really wanted to do a good job for me and she did. My husband and I had been waiting for haircuts since the beginning of March, due to the pandemic (our stylist are in San Francisco). Thankfully, we were referred to Arlene. The salon practices all the recommendations for hygiene and safety. Arlene got us in for appointments within a week and spend a good deal of time understanding our preferences. She is very kind. It's wonderful to have a pixie cut again instead of a mop on my head. I look forward to adding highlighting next cut. We are very grateful for the hospitality shown.

I love getting my hair services from this salon. I miss it very much. I am looking forward to getting my appointment for my Uber short pixie cut with Eileen. Pixies are tough, and it is hard to find hairdresser that understands how to do them. It is an ultimate sign of excellence that the hair stylist can create a well balanced pixie cut. Eileen is a pro with the high marks.

I would travel anywhere to be able to go to Arlene! She truly does the best hair styling. I've shifted over the years from highlights to bayalage, and she always creates a beautiful blonde natural look. She's also a kind person and easy to talk to. The salon is so cute, situation in Woodside right off 280, and carries a variety of products (I love Aveda). If you are thinking of making a stylist switch, I highly recommend checking out Olive Hill Salon. I feel better when I leave this salon. A good feeling!
