Great place to buy a kayak from (new or pre-owned), one of the staff members there is very knowledgeable about white water. (don't recall the name). Helped us to get all the gear we needed to set out on an adventure.

Rented a raft from CKS last year, due to bad weather they were verify flexible in changing the dates. Thank you for that. However, once I came to pick up the raft they explained that I was mistaken in thinking they would provide straps to attach to the raft to my car, even though when I asked specifically over the phone a week before. Things only got worse when we attempted to return the raft. We were immediately questioned on the number of paddle taken. It felt like they were blaming us for them forgetting writing down the number of paddles we had and seemed to think we stole one. While the boat of high quality the service and experience in the shop was far from ideal. Will not rent from there again.

CKS Main Street always has outstanding customer service, even during busy summer weekends. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful whether you’re looking for a tee shirt or buying your first kayak. Definitely the best paddling shop in Colorado.

Cool place with really local supplies. BUT!!! not one employee said hello, good morning, I had seen four inside working. Female/cashier was on her phone and didn't care who walked by. Manager blonde woman walked by and didn't even smile. Didn't get one of my pennies. Kinda sad!!

Shout out to Fred from CKS. I was having trouble with my white water kayak pump, and he went above and beyond helping me first fix it and then exchange it. CKS not only has amazing quality boats, but also amazing quality, friendly service.

Cute clothes and accessories - happy to finally see some United by Blue backpacks in person. But I saw no extended sizes in women’s clothing.

Great service as long as I personally know the cashier. But please lower the prices!!! A lot of the clothing is so cute and I get that it is high quality but some people would like a souvenir! Great selection tho!

Bought a glorious pair of sun shades here and they unfortunately broke when I went to open them and put them on the next morning. Came back in and they swapped them out no issues! I only wish I was a Colorado native so I could come here more frequently

Super cool store on Main Street in BV. They have a huge selection of outdoor products with the focus being water sports. Look no further for outdoor wear and gear, they've probably got it. I shopped here on several occasions and never left disappointed. The staff were always willing to help me find what I needed. PFDs, Kayaks, Helmets, Hats, Straps, Dresses, Shirts, Dry Suits, Water Purification, Maps, Books, Paddles; You name it. They have a nice selection of used kayaks for sale in the early spring if you're in the market! CKS also rents out some gear and equipment just be sure to ask. 5/5 Check this store out!

CKS Main Street is such a great part of this community. We rented paddle boards with our Buena Vista Library reading passes and our experience was amazing. The staff was helpful in loading up the gear and making sure we had everything necessary. We have rented from them many times before and they have always been organized, informative and helpful. Love supporting this awesome business that that also invests in our community.
