Every employee I encounter at this location is short and rude with seemingly little knowledge of how their store even operates. It shouldn't be so difficult to donate items or buy something from the store.

I am pretty disappointed. I used to donate truck loads to Goodwill. I cant stomach it any more. Their prices for my FREE stuff is well overpriced. I could sell the stuff cheaper in a garage sale. They are selling t-shirts for 7.00?? I mean...really? In addition, they act like their sales are amazing when in fact all they are doing is bringing the price back down to the price they used to be a couple of years ago when they were overpriced. The clothing is USED!!! Its named brand but it doesnt matter to me. Instead of just dropping off my stuff to Goodwill I am now donating all of my items to people who actually care and are redonating them to people who are in need. I would argue that if you are going to Goodwill, you are in need but I cant donate due to their over-inflated prices. The majority of their items are just junk now too. I went in the other day to just see if I could donate again and the are selling OLD OLD clothing as IF they are newer. So sad that this corporation is now taking advantage of poor people! Makes me sick! One more thing...I asked a worker about bringing back their .99 sales....their excuse....we dont do that any more because people make such a mess. I was like....so that should tell you something, right? They are excited to shop when the prices are reasonable!!! It should help your company going back to the 2.50 prices for regular clothing and have sales on the weekends for the .99 sales! People like me would also be SUPER excited to donate again!

They wouldn’t take our solid wood sofa table from woodleys because they were full of furniture. Seems like they should have made room by throwing out some junk furniture they had sitting out. Instead I had to drive to Salvation Army which gladly took it. People here are not very smart.

Note on dressing room doors stated due to people " trashing " the dressing room, dressing room was closed. No outdoor area, no plus size section.. Very disorganized, clothes of all sorts mixed on racks. Color tag of the day not accurate. The board when you walk in said certain tag color on sale, but when to check out, said that color not on sale, that was "yesterdays" sale. older woman putting clothes out was rude and very short when I asked for help on finding a certain size.

Exactly what you would expect...some days it's great and some days it's not. It's usually clean and as organized as it can be. I do not care for the smell that they use on the clothes. A fragrance free would be appreciated!!

Terrible experience with Bryan the manager at this location. Our birth certificates were stolen and donated to this goodwill .I’ve called Brian or Bryan as we are working with police- he has refused for us to reclaim or documents as he claims it’s now goodwill property. Goodwill steals your identity, no background checks done on employees, claims they call police (they do not,we had to) for such a charitable organization I would be very weary of dealing with such a organization . Bryan then claimed I was “harassing him” and “ I’m not a customer” and that I “belittled” him by asking to recoup my rightly identity documents. Goodwill shame on you for encouraging such distractions behavior and furthering the underground criminal circuit. You will hear from my lawyers from England - we have data protection rights. I am not going away easily. Yours sincerely

TRUE: The store is open until 9pm but the dressing rooms close at 6pm. No exceptions. Does that make sense to anyone? The manager, Brian, lacked basic customer service. People who cannot make a common sense decision baffle me. I was going to spend probably $100 in the store but walked out because I was not allowed access to the dressing rooms at 7pm. Where's the GOODWILL? BOO BRIAN BOO! I won't return and sincerely hope this review causes others not to shop there.

Love this place. My wife and I go here all the time and we can usually find a good selection of work pants, electronics, etc. Though I normally have a few sections I browse in while she picks through the entire store. That being said, I'm sure I'm not the only guy that would love it if they put a husband section in. A comfortable place to sit and watch sports while the wife shops. 😂

The Goodwill in Castle Rock is a great for profit organization that easily accepts donated items ranging from clothing, accessories, electronics, reading materials and much more donated items. The drive thru area is easily accessible with guided lane markers. Inside, the store is well maintained, clean, and customer service is always great. While shopping here, just don’t look for one thing, look around, you may be surprised by a hidden gem or two. Follow me for other reviews.
