Starting from the very beginning, I opened an auto claim in Jan 2021 from a hit and run incident that occurred while moving cross country. In June I called around a few shops in the Greeley area to get estimates. When I called American Auto Body the first time I spoke to Kevin who was sympathetic and courteous about my situation . We exchanged a few emails and I decided to check out their body shop in person to get a better feel and mindset. Rachel greeted me the moment I stepped inside and made me feel comfortable with the questions and concerns I had. From the duration of the repairs, costs, and completing two auto claims at the same time. I had to bring in my vehicle twice for an estimate and photos due to the auto insurance companies complain of the photos and estimate repair costs. Rachel was very patient and kind during the whole process, even though we had to play phone tag a few times. My vehicle was taken care of and repaired within the time frame that was discussed and the interior was cleaned. which was a lovely surprise. Each time I went into the shop or spoke to Rachel on the phone each step was thoroughly explained to make sure we were on the same page and everything was understood before processing to the next. When I had another issue with my auto insurance company and I already picked up my vehicle, I was still treated as a customer and person. When I forgot my checkbook at home Kevin was so generous to discount the card fee in honoring my veteran status. I chose American Auto Body because of their personable and professional staff members, care in the vehicle repairs, and to support a local small business grow that genuinely takes care of other patrons. Kevin and the staff are great, very personable, friendly and professional. The actual body work however was sub par. They had my truck for two weeks and when I arrived to pickup the chip guard on the door looked like sandpaper and faded into the back door (which was not replaced). The factory chip guard has very little texture. Kevin agreed it was not right and agreed to do it again. This repeated 3 more times times, I was called to come pick it up, it wasn't right, Kevin agreed and performed the work again. A two week repair turned into a month and the final result was no texture on the chip guard on the passenger side. It does not match the original factory install and Kevin seemed ok with that. When I told him I was unhappy he stated "a lot of body shops would have left you with the way it was the first time". I don't buy that, maybe a chop shop with unskilled tradespeople would but I was looking to have my 2 year old vehicle with 20,000 miles restored to factory condition. In the end it was a huge inconvenience, and a waste of my time and money. If you're interested in being friends with your body shop personnel, this is the place for you. If your interested in quality work and factory finish it's probably best to shop around.

Very professional staff who kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle repair. They explained everything to me in as much detail as I wanted, and were never rude or condescending. The quality of the repair is extremely high - my car looks much nicer now than it did even before the accident. I highly recommend American Auto Body.

More than happy with my decision to leave my Ram 3500 with American Auto Body for body repairs! The staff is proffesional, friendly and their work doesnt disappoint! My pickup looks brand new again and the paint job is top notch as well! They also keep you updated a couple times a week on the progress of your vehicle which is also nice. Can’t recommend them enough!

American Auto Body completed hail damage repair on my vehicle using paint-less dent removal. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, communication, and workmanship. The car looks like new again and they made the process easy working with both me and my insurance. Thank you for the great work. Family owned body shop that really take the time to listen to customer needs and asure quality repairs that are backed by a lifetime warranty. Hopefully I will not need to get my truck painted again but if I do, American auto body has my business. I appreciate all your hard work Team American auto body!

Worst experience ever. My car was crashed in December. They said needed insurance estimate. Got estimate from insurance company and then told me didn't have time until February with so many cars needing repair. Waited until then since car was drivable and other repair places were busy also. February came and said they had waiting list, but didn't tell me this in December. Again waited and got on waiting list because other repair shops were still busy also. March came and they called to say could fix my car. I scheduled an appointment. Three business days before appointment they called and cancelled. They said had more undriveables and I would have to wait again. I was done with them by this point. Went to another place and they got my car in to fix it in less than a week. I will not be go here again. They don't care about their customers. They care more about insurance companies being happy. If your insurance company doesn't have a contract with them, don't bother taking car here. You will be waiting forever and get crappy service.
