Had a great experience. Great people with new equipment. Trails for amateur to well experienced. We rented a 4 passenger rzr had a blast. I ask That future people drive with respect and watch for others on the trail. You break you pay. Bottom line. We highly recommend and will be back

1st let me start with the drive up… we stayed in winter park and drove the hour up to Grand Lake, the views and scenery are spectacular and second to none. The staff was extremely helpful, encouraging, and nice! Now for the ride, we just rented the snowmobiles and took out on our own, the trails are clearly marked and well groomed. The views on the trails are absolutely breathtaking! If we were staying closer we would have definitely done this more than once! We were 2 adult and 3 kids and this was the only place that offered a 3 rider machine. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be coming back!

You all are awesome people! Excellent customer service from the moment we arrived and when we left. Excellent support of getting our gears together then our snowmobiles. Excellent communication and support on the phone when I called and inquired some questions. We will definitely return! And looking forward to camping at your RV site during the summer with our motorcycles too. The Wards 😊👍👍

On the trail rentals was awesome! We had a great self guided tour. Friendly staff helped us feel safe and equipped to take on our tour. It’s our second tour with OTR, and can’t wait to return! Booking was a breeze, and the staff were very helpful with our group (3 kids included) and made sure we had an unforgettable experience. 10/10 recommend!

*** READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU RENT SNOWMOBILES FROM ON THE TRAIL RENTAL *** Our party of six came in from out of state to rent 4 snow machines for a half a day. The staff were polite and professional enough and we were grateful for that. However we were shocked, disgusted and angered by the obviously conscience decision of the management to withhold the fact that the entire area we were to be snowmobiling was a totally burned out forest. We spent 4 hours looking at burned trees and did not see anything green the ENTIRE day. Burned out tree after burned out tree is what we saw the entire day. I am attaching to this review 25 pictures that fairly show the entire area of snowmobiling from this rental outfit. Again, this is an obvious decision by the management and ownership of this company to not tell potential clients that the entire area which is available from their location to snowmobile, is nothing but an ugly burned out cinder of a forest. Before you rent from this outfit review the attached pictures and make sure you will be satisfied with a non-stop tour of a burned out and ugly area. The management may attempt to defend this "fraud by omission" by stating that if you go far enough or look hard enough you might find some unburned trees. There are so many beautiful areas in Colorado and many other rental companies that you should consider rather than paying to take a tour of this burned out husk of a forest with this dishonest company.

Amazing experience, we can’t say enough about the accommodating staff and high quality rentals and equipment. Never having ever driven or ridden a snowmobile prior to this, the trails are easy to follow, vehicles are straightforward and easy to maneuver, sights are breathtaking, gear is clean and keeps you warm and dry (it was 12 degrees when we went.) With 3 kids (16,14,10) we rented a two seater and a three seater for two hours and it was perfect. Worth every penny.

My family and I had such an amazing time! It was our first time snowmobiling and we were a bit nervous but so excited to do this! The staff was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable through out the whole process. Definitely recommending On the Trails Rentals to all my family and friends. Wow! Such an awesome experience from ease of booking to the amazing mountain top trails. We are a family of 5 (kids 11,9,7) with zero experience. But they made it easy to learn and we all had a blast! The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and fun. The suits, helmets, and boots were basically new and extremely comfortable. I can not say enough nice things. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

This was the ultimate snowmobiling experience! Our entire family of 16 got to go out together on some AMAZING TRAILS! The staff was excellent, helping us select the perfectly fitted jumper, boots, and helmets! This place provided everything we needed for a great EXPERIENCE! And their facility was spotless! On The Trail Rentals was wonderful, we were able to book a 4 hour snowmobile rental for 2 snowmobiles with only 2 days notice. The staff was great and very friendly, their new building is so nice. So glad they were able to rebuild after the fires, we’ve been snowmobiling in Grand Lake for years so sad to see the fire damage. Would definitely recommend On The Trail Rentals for a great snowmobiling experience.
