I think this is the best retro store we have. They keep it nice, organized and are generally friendly. My son makes us stop anytime we are going by. I think the pricing is a tad high but there are also some really good deals. I don't think we have ever gone and Not bought something. I appreciate the owners and the staff for keeping up with the store.

I love Games Ahoy! Every time I go in I just want to buy everything in it and they have a lot of retro games and gaming accessories as well as some collectible gaming items so it's a bit different than most gaming stores. The prices are a little high but for what they have the prices are pretty reasonable. I definitely recommend Games Ahoy!

I went there to trade in some Pokémon cards, without having done prior research and without knowing how much my cards were worth. Rob, the gentleman who helped me, was beyond helpful and knowledgeable on the cards I had brought in. He helped me determine my most valuable cards, accepted more cards than expected, and gave me some important tips and tools of the TCG universe. Absolutely massive help. Couldn't ask for better customer service anywhere. Thanks so much, Rob!

Employees helped when asked. One helped me search through the commander decks to help me try to find a specific deck. Prices are always great and employees are knowledgeable on products.

While I actually think that this store is the BEST retro store I think I've ever been to. Sadly, I think it's the worst customer service I've ever had shopping my entire life. Went in to get a disc clean. Not a big deal when one of the staff mentioned it would be a minute. Since it was my first time. Thought I'd walk around to see what the store had to offer. (I just moved here from Colorado Springs.) After I was done and saw it was less busy. I went over to see about getting my disc clean. They told me how the disc cleaning would go. Mentioned it may not work even after. That part was fine. It wasn't working anyway. What REALLY bothered me. Was when I was complimenting the staff on how the store handled games with extreme care or told them that I thought it was probably the best retro store I've ever been to. They flat out ignored me. Wouldn't even acknowledge it AT ALL. As if I had done something wrong my FIRST time in the establishment. Completely monotone. Didn't even wish me a good Memorial Day weekend. Coming from a Military family. That was pretty awful. Terrible in everyway. Not only do I think that's bad customer service. I don't feel comfortable coming back. Not sure if a lot of others have had a similar experience, but I felt highly judged when they wouldn't even respond to me about simple things I was saying. I'm bummed to say the least because I genuinely would like to go back, but not if I'm treated like I'm stupid for having said the store was great in the first place. As a first time shopper of this store. Not a great first impression. Where that should be the most important.

It's a pretty good store for buying games. I have found newer games at less than Walmart prices. That's saying something. Anyway I went to get a hard to get item which was a power cord for a Xbox 360. Which had. So that was good they are friendly, polite and do a great job. Thanks

This is one of the few remaining old school style game stores where you can always walk in and find something new or nostalgic. They have a fully purchasable archive of new and used games for Super Nintendo, SEGA Genesis/Saturn, N64, PSOne/2/3/4/5, Xbox OG/360/One, and more for average market price without having to wait (and pay) for shipping. They also have all the peripherals needed to bring your old console back to life with controllers, cables, rumble packs, ect. It doesn’t stop at video games. They have a really killer selection of tabletop games and DVD/BluRay titles with hard to find companies like Arrow Films. Check it out!

Definitely knows what they're talking about compared to the games ahoy on the other side of town. Better management and service. 10/10 recommend this one over the one near Walmart. But customer service

I wish I could rate these guys a 6, they are fair with their trade ins and prices, every console I have bought has worked and still do. They sell games as old as Atari and up. All of the employees at both stores are awesome and knowledgeable too. I go here every pay check. I do kind of miss the point system but the buy 3 10.00 or under get one free is not bad either, lots of good titles for that price.
